I visited the Muffin Man because it was near my hotel. The place was so busy there was a queue I get seated. We had come here twice. First time I got tea and lemon tea cake. Second time it was tea and scones. Both...More

We stopped in for sandwiches. We had the muffin man sandwich and the prawn sandwich. Both were very good. The bread was excellent. Could have used more mayo on both.

Visited for breakfast as next to hotel. Limited choices for breakfast, average and quite expensive even for Kensington. You get scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and beans plus toast for £9. There are plenty of better and cheaper places.

We wanted to find something very traditional for breakfast on our trip and wanted authentic tea and scones. This place was it. Sort of off the beaten path *but accessible via the tube* and you'll probably have to wait outside for a table, but it...More

A great place to have a British breakfast: eggs, muffins, scones and good teas. Atmosphere is very local and so are the customers.

This was OK, but it is not very complicated to find someplace better. The staff forgot, that we ordered, and payed for coffee. 20 minutes later I had to ask for it. - 20 minutes to make two cups of americano. I'm not amazed...

Small tea-rooms with great menu, fantastic cakes, excellent service and very competitively priced. Brilliant find and would definitely visit again!

We visited for lunch. Lovely choice of food with some unusual sandwich fillings. Service was good and food well presented. Good value for money.

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

I'm not sure to be entirely honest although there was a man with a laptop working away when we were in one of the mornings. Perhaps it might tell you on their website. It's more a place for having a quick bite! Sorry... More
