This place has gone downhill over the years. I ordered a boiled egg with sautéed tomatoes. It arrived with slices of fresh tomatoes on one plate and egg with pieces of left over crumbs of bread on another. I had to ask for a bigger plate and the wait for milk for my coffee was unreasonable. My coffee had gone... More

We stopped here for lunch, the young Hungarian server was first class. She did a great meet and greet and talked us through the menu, she is clearly an asset to their business. The food was also first class, nicely prepared and served promptly. There was only one slight downside in that the two Vegetarian dishes my wife had ordered... More

And I try not to sweat the small stuff, but if one of your specials is a Spelt salad but you don't have any spelt... Then go and get some. There must be 50 shops within half a mile that sell it. Don't be so bloody lazy.

Disappointing as my family had recommended this chain.. Just wanted a light breakfast before visiting my wife in hospital and hotel was expensive at 12.95 My scrambled eggs were dry and over cooked, the pancetta was described as crispy on menu but not. It took so long to. Come that my flat white was cold. My fault I should have... More

I've been to Pain Quotidiene for a quick snack. Nice pastries, jams and chocolates. Coffee could be better. Overall I find it a valuable option for breakfast or a quick lunch or an afternoon snack

I really like this place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. There is a wide variety of choices (eggs, croissant, bread, salads, soups..) and everything is very good (and very healthy!). I highly recommend it

we came here for brunch and were nicely surprised by the service and food selection here. Very tasty coffee, though I actually didn't like that the cup was more like a bowl, so it wasn't comfortable to hold with a hot drink in it) but that's just a detail. On the whole, the place is great, the atmosphere is very... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
