I have been a regular diner at the foyer restaurant in claridges for many years , and have enjoyed their faultless food as a solo diner , with friends , with family and romantically with my GF . This establishment really and truly sets the highest level of service whether it be for breakfast , afternoon tea or diner .... More

Absolutely love this place. Everything about it says classy. Must experience it! Have been going once a year in December with my friends and young daughter. It's now our family tradition! The service and food are second to none. If there were 6 stars this place would get them! Feels like home and it feels like we belong there! 😊

An insititution which keeps the image and value. Met friends in the lobby or foyer and had a very nice time, with excellent press tea and pastries.

Treated my husband to a Birthday afternoon tea. This was a truly amazing experience. service was exceptional with a very lovely Italian girl who couldn't have treated us nicer. Lovely tea selection. Its expensive but worth every penny. Hopefully will get to stay next time.

Claridge's remains a London establishment. The Foyer is a lovely place for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. The dining room itself is beautiful, yet comfortable. Service is fantastic. I highly recommend the lobster risotto and chicken pie.

I had the occasion to be hosted today for breakfast meetings and lunch at the hotel. The service was excellent and food was very well prepared and delivered quite discretely. It had been some years since I last was at the Hôtel and found it immaculate and welcoming as always.

Dining at Claridge's is always a special treat. The restaurant in the Foyer & Reading Room is a delight - elegantly designed in a subtly traditional way that makes diners feel very much at ease. The food and its presentation are both sublime. The staff are exceedingly professional without being too much of a presence. The Menu du Jour is... More

My family and I came for an evening meal in the Foyer to celebrate a special occasion. Service was excellent but I sadly can't say the same about the food. We all ordered fillet steaks and I can honestly say I have had better cuts of meat elsewhere. I think we all expected better from Claridges and we felt a... More

I love coming here alone. I sit in a corner in a comfy leather arm chair and always have the perfect English Breakfast followed by copious amounts of tea. The service is always impeccable and I'm never made to feel rushed even though I can have the breakfast in a flash if I so wished to. I like to laze... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
