This is a must do for any visitor to London, and The Ritz serves the very best in afternoon tea which is legendary.

Having always wanted to visit The Ritz, I had very high expectations and I'm not fully convinced that it was worth the £70 per person! The service was good, the waiters were attentive and welcoming; the sandwiches and cakes were delicious, I particularly loved the...More

Lacking the wow factor but something to say you've done. My advice is don't arrive too early for your sitting as you'll find there is nowhere to wait. I was surprised to find not everyone opted for smart attire. As for the afternoon tea, the...More

An unforgettable experience reminiscent of the halcyon days of yesteryear. Superb fare, superb service yet in no way pretentious. A serious contender for your bucket list & if possible book a stay in one of the magnificent rooms. You will not be disappointed.

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier

a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s

The Ritz is very traditional and over priced for what it is. Nice to go once for the atmosphere and traditional English afternoon tea. My opinion is at that age, they are too young to appreciate it. You would be better off... More

A British institution in itself, Tea at The Ritz is proud to be a member of the Tea Council's prestigious Tea Guild. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate pastries, combine to make for an unforgettable afternoon. The luxurious and graceful setting of The Ritz Palm Court is legendary and this is most certainly an opportunity that must be experienced, whether you are visiting London or already live there. Reflecting the elegant nature of the hotel's architecture The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery) and The Ritz Club, smart casual attire is suitable. Please note that trainers or sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel or Club's restaurants or bars.
