I have been to the Landau on many occassions in the evening and had the most enjoyable meals from the Al a carte menu which couldnt be faulted. However I visited with three girlfriends to done from their festive lunch menu at £59 per head with a half bottle of wine each on 9th December only to be very disappointed.... More

Our first brunch at Roux at the Landau and it was mighty impressive. Impeccable service, good atmosphere and an array of dishes to suit everyone. See you again soon!

The food and service here were exquisite. My family and I dine out frequently and we went for the set menu, perhaps as part of the london restaurant festival. We were not disappointed. This is some of the most delicious food and most excellent service I have experienced!

Situated in the beautiful Langham Hotel, the restaurant is very stylish and reception as it should be. The place was fully booked and it became rather noisy. The perfect attention we got upon arrival also disappeared. Our bottle of wine e.g. only arrived after the first course was cleared from the table... All dished came swiftly one after another, so... We were looking for a quality meal at a quality venue to celebrate my daughter's birthday and weren't disappointed. The dining room was delightful although the tables were a mite close together (only a slight annoyance thanks to a woman on the next table with an over-loud voice). The service was attentive and informed without being overbearing, the timing of... More

6 of us ate here Friday 2nd Dec, we had high expectations and sadly they were not met. We opted for the chefs menu for the whole table. We asked for water on several occasions, each time forgotten, other drinks were missed and we had to re-order twice. The food was nice but not on another level, we did expect... More

Eight of us dined at the Landau, at19:00 on the 2nd Dec. I had booked three months in advance, made it clear that we wanted to book the Festive menu and settled on a Friday night booking at 19:00. That was duly confirmed by reservations. On arrival we had the only table for eight in the restaurant. Reception noted as... More

We had such an amazing time at Roux - from the dinner (salmon, cod and cheese and biscuits) to the wonderful wine selection combined with the brilliant service. The highlight for me was the cheese board - absolute heaven. We will definitely return

Had lunch today with a fixed 5 course meal and wines and am stunned- it was quite fantastic food world class, wines perfectly suited and staff who knew their jobs and did it with a style and with immense class. This place should be on everyone's " buckett list"

Served with sumptuously exquisite cuisine. All waiters are of high quality professionals. They are all patient to cater the needs of customers. You would only find this restaurant of elegance and class but nothing else. The restaurant is run by a two Michelin starred Chef, Michel Roux Jr., of Le Gavroche, and his father, Albert Roux. Visited Waterside Inn at... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
