We have lunch here about once a year as we like it, usually with bookatable. Nice warm welcome on arrival; coats taken; got choice of table. Room really very nice if slightly querky and slightly grey; very classical and not square. Service was top-notch with nice chats when you want them. Food was excellent with different flavours coming out at... More

A first visit to Roux at the Landau and having been to Roux at Parliament Square and enjoyed that visit very much, I was expecting good things. Firstly, the dinning room is very beautiful and elegant, in this fabulous old hotel. I particularity liked the green tiled entrance way which creates some wow factor as you walk into the room.... On the day we dined at the Landau, I had a terrible sore throat and didn't really want to eat anything, but it was still the best meal I've ever had in my life and the staff made it even better, even offering to make me a hot water with honey and lemon

I went for my birthday meal with my other half here and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Staff were really attentive yet not intrusive and made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. Food was great and thoroughly enjoyed the personal touches as it was my birthday - even though my other half had arranged a cake,... More

Had Boxing Day breakfast at the restaurant, very, tasty food, nice atmosphere. Be aware you can only order one thing from the a la cart menu, please ask before you order.

My boyfriend and I went to London to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Roux at the Landau just made our anniversary that bit more special. The service was spot on and the food was divine. The anniversary plate with the petit fours were incredible, they were absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend eating here, would love to come back again.

Excellent evening!! We came a bit early due to my girlfriend felt bad. Fantastic service the waiters took good care of us and we got our last course packed in a doggie bag so we could enjoy it at the hotel room. They only thing to add is, in my opinion, that more than 400£ is too much for two... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
