It was our second visit. The food on the set 5 course menu was amazing and the service was outstanding. Staff were delightful and not in your face!

What a delightful birthday surprise, lunch at Roux at the Landau! Travelling up from the Midlands for lunch might be considered rather extravagant but it was a truly enjoyable experience. The relatively short train journey, shopping in Oxford street and then fine dining is definitely to be recommended. The set menu was exceptional, the food really delicious and the service... More

Booked a set price 3 course meal and expecting great food from one of our favourite celebrity chefs. We were not disappointed. From the moment you walk in the staff are super courteous and incredibly helpful. The amuse bouche announce you are in for a treat and you are. I had the onion Velouté to start and my husband had... Dining alone I was made welcome and helped in my menu choice by a number of different staff members. Maybe a tiny bit of criticism is that I think I would've liked one person to look after me so I could build up a rapport with them, but there were too many different staff to do that, probably only because... My partner have been here before. I decided as a treat to splash out for valentines. We had a delicious 5 course menu. The telephone service is great. My partner has a number of food allergies and I spent about 10 minutes discussing these. Nothing was too much trouble. The welcome on arrival is warm although be warned. If you... More

Very welcoming. Room a little dark and had to resort to using phone light, but that is my eyesight! Food very good but not outstanding. I prefer other Roux establishments.

Just the two of us, for a pre-Christmas lunch in the Smoke. I went for the set 3 course Lunch menu (@ £59) with a glass of wine. My lunching partner went for the a la carte, basically because of "Pescatarian". Started with Artichoke Soup & Pumpkin Soup - both fabulous and served in a special way. Mains were game... More

What a great birthday treat this was! Gracious staff, absolutely delicious food and wine, and to top it off a little birthday surprise at the end. I love coming to Roux and The Landau and will keep coming back because it makes for such a wonderful evening.

There's a very good reason that this restaurant is so highly regarded and the father and son combination is so well known. Food really doesn't come much better than this. Not just the food though. The restaurant, the staff, the service, the ambience are all of the highest standards. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed in an oval with high... More

This was dining like you have never experienced, service like you've never experienced and above all, the food was exquisite. If I ever do one thing in my life, it's to come back to Roux at the Landau. Astounding food in a beautiful restaurant. We booked for the seven course tasting menu with an array of beautifully cooked food, gorgeous... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
