I’ve been visiting Bag O’Nails for years with friends for drinks. Serving the best Guinness in the area! Staff is lovely and always up for a laugh!

Just got past Buckingham Palace and was looking for a pub. This was the first one. Friendly, smiley staff and good covid measures in place. Quite small and cosy. Gave me a taster of a beer to see if I liked it. Quick service. Menu...looked extensive and delicious but we didn't eat this time. Recommended.More

Enjoyed a great meal here. The pub is observing COVID guidelines strictly, but it is all done in a very pleasant way. The service was excellent and I was frequently checked on by several members of staff. The macaroni cheese (with Chorizo and peppers added...as extra) was absolutely delicious and probably the best I have ever had. Full marks to this place for working so hard to keep everyone safe and happyMore

For me as a foreigner in a london this was what i loved at first look. Center of london, beer, pub on the corner next to busy roads. I had to give it a try ans i enjoyed it. It is what i would describe...as usual london pub, but however i could be wrong. My opinionMore

Don’t waste your money poor food and service with a grunt. Ordered a fish finger sandwich and it was RUBBISH stale bread and cold fingers and a small portion of chips asked for butter for my stale bread 15 minutes later it arrived. Barman was...rude taking orders and messed the order up shame for the area it was in.More

stopped for a Pint and a bite , good choice of Bitter . Food was OK , had the fish and chips , portions are little small on the chips but the fish was a good size although a little greasy . Nice atmosphere and...service was quick and friendly . Pay for the food at the bar before being served , no issues with that but object to adding a gratuity before the food is served , just my preference and understand thats how the machines are set up .More

Not sure if the pub has changed management but it used to be welcoming and friendly. Now I find I find the staff quite rude. Asked for a glass of wine off the menu and ended arguing about it. Then went to pay and the...barman walked off, had to go find him for the receipt. I quote 'should have asked me before you paid'. This would have been fine had he not walked off. After explaining this was told 'I won't serve you again'. Quite odd for just asking for a receipt. I was left stunned really. Not ideal service really. Very disappointing for somewhere I had previously recommended! This is the second time in 2 months I've had a bad experience and probably won't go back now. Unfortunate, as I liked the pub previously.More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a

Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the

Absolutely! Both of our dining experiences were downstairs. We actually enjoyed the local atmosphere that is more prevalent downstairs.
