6 of us mates pre-booked a table for iftaar, food was average with plenty of choice. However they put us on a table/seating fit for 4, all of us squashed our buttocks tight like in a can of sardines! The most disappointed part was, although...we booked for 6 & one of our mates couldn’t attend, they forced us to pay for the non attendee too! £15 per head, so we ended up £90 including our invisible Casper friend! Rip off & blatant daylight robbery! Hope you become richer by thieving off from us!More

very simple and tasteless food at that price. Ordered a cup of tea which was just warmed up in a microwave oven, returned after a sip. But had to pay. Never recommend

Went here at three in the afternoon expecting a tired after-lunch experience but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This place was impeccable. All the food on offer was so tempting, hot and fresh. Standout dishes were the lamb ribs on the bone, the fish...bortha and the biryani. Restaurant must be the best kept in Whitechapel. So clean, such nice staff and at the heart of it all beautiful food prepared and served with care. I’ll be back as soon as possible.More

Dear owner/manager We went to have breakfast to your restaurant on Friday the 20th of Aug at 11:00. We had very bad experience in your restaurant as staff were very reluctant to serve and finally the price was too high which is totally unacceptable. We...had the following items - 5 parathas 1 naan 2 bowls of vegetable 2 piece rasogolla 1 piece kalojam 2 piece sponge misthi 2 small cup of teas 1 litre bottle water We got charged £2.00 for a rasogolla when box of 6 cost £3.00. A piece of kalojam can £2.00 ? Is it for real. My mistake was not asking the price of everything as I have been dining and buying things from Whitechapel area from long time time and know the average price of these stuffs. Hence I did not asked the price except paratha . Paratha costed us £1.50 each and the less oily one costed me £2.00. I don’t get it why it would £2.00 for the less oily one. How ridicules pricing it is ? A small cup of tea should not be priced £2.00 as you are not a fine dining restaurant. Even the branded coffee shop won’t charge that much for a cup of tea. When we go to dine such a place like yours should cost more than £1.00 for small cup of tea it’s simply call rip off . When we go to this kind of restaurant we don’t expect that you will charge £3.00 for one litre of water bottle. A small bowl of veg plus lentil curry was £4.99. Do you think it’s fair pricing? You should have some business ethics and fair trade policies otherwise I can bet, you will started to lose the business soon and eventually will get burst one day . I am not moaning because of the money but for dishonesty, I can afford to pay £40.00 for breakfast but you should not rip customers off by unreal pricing of your goods. If you think losing one or two customers will not affect your business than you are wrong, as I am going to tell everyone I know about your restaurant and your service. Even 10 people out of 100 stop coming to your restaurant that will start to make difference in your business in long term. I hope you will realise that making money is not only the ambition of a business.More

Feast & Mishti (as it now calls itself) offers an excellent value buffet of apparently authentic Bangladeshi dishes. Cold starters include dips based on aubergine or tomatoes, as well as a cold cod mash. Warm starters include two types of chicken drumsticks and samosas, but...it is in the main courses that the village-style (Grameen) cooking comes to the fore. Chicken and lamb were both available as a Handy Cooked curry cooked on the bone; and there were two fish dishes including a very good rui maas bhuna. You can help yourself to steamed rice (from a rice cooker not on the main table, next to the utensils), fresh cooked naan, or a chilli fried rice. Finally there are a couple of Bangladeshi desserts (mishti) as well as rice pudding. The buffet comes with a can of soft drink or bottle of still water. There's an a la carte which has a wider selection of snacks and vegetarian dishes and is modestly priced. It's about 2 minutes' walk from Whitechapel tube station - take the exit to the Whitechapel Road, turn left and it's just there behind a takeaway counter.More

Me and my family visited today spontaneously and were not disappointed at all. We were welcomed immediately by the staff and seated right away. We were all very much content with the food, catered perfectly to all of our preferences. We cannot commend the staff...enough, and will surely be returning.More

Had breakfast at 9:30am in the morning and ordered freshly made paratha with eggs, chana and vegetable Daal. It was all very tasty and the service was also exceptional. Love the ambience and the authentic feel, it's like being in Sylhet!

There is no words to describe how rubbish this place is. I have never walked out of a restaurant feeling hungry. Went with family during Ramadan there was only buffets, only few selection. Food was cold and disgusting. Had 2 young children with me who...did not even touch the food but was still charged £22 for them because they sat on the seat. I would not recommend anyone to visit this place. The service was rubbish, the staff ignored the complaint we made about the cold and limited food selection. He said he will give us discount and guess how much discount he gave £1. Please guys don’t waste your money in this place.More

I wanted to visit this place for a while as has a big range of Bharta. The restaurant it self was nice and clean, however the buffet was disappointing looking, the chicken items were uneatable because it was so tough. The meat items were nice...and good flavours as was the bharta, there were very good choices and they were very tasty, dhali bora were made fresh and I eat quite a few of those as well. The staff were excellent very attentive and were happy to answer any questions. This restaurant would have had a higher rating but because of the quality of the chicken really let it down, which is a shame, would I be back, most likely, but I might come back during the busier times so more of the food is fresher.More

Ideal venue for a family gathering and quality buffet food. There is a good selection of hot and cold food for those who love Indian buffet at a budget. Also ends the meals with a sweet dessert

Visited this place over the weekend during a long weekend in london. Quality of food is poor. Buffet had a poor selection and at a rate of £10per person I expected a lot more. I observed the waiter constantly come out with freshly chopped coriander...and scatter over old curries and dishes (to give it a freshly cooked look). The Asian sweets (jelabi and kheer) were old and distasteful. When you order off the menu, they take some of the food from the old buffet rather than freshly cook it for you. The lamb curry was full of fat and bones! Only thing half decent was the chicken wings but I could’ve gone for these at a fried chicken place for a fraction of the cost! Be very cautious if visiting.More
