Location and contact

Off the beaten track, on the south side of Leytonstone High Road, not far from Stratford & the Olympic Park, in a location easily reachable from Leyton, Forest Gate and Wansted, you can find Mora, a cosy, relaxed and welcoming restaurant serving hearty Italian food. We specialise in fresh pasta, handmade in small quantities in our kitchen: we make tagliatelle, pappardelle & tagliolini every day, ravioli, gnocchi & tortelloni as part of our weekly specials. Using seasonal and carefully selected ingredients sourced from small, artisan producers our chef Carlo created a menu offering mouth-watering traditional Italian dishes like tagliolini cacio e pepe, melanzane alla parmigiana and tiramisu,

This is a wonderful, authentic Italian restaurant specialising in regional and seasonal dishes. The menu isn't large but the specials board is vast. The food is beautifully prepared and presented and be warned, the portions are huge! I had a crab soup to start and...More

This place just suits my wife and I perfectly. Our food choices are always a pleasure to look at, a pleasure to eat, they always taste fresh, are served with politeness and correctness and of course the accompanying wines are brilliantly matched. For us, this...More

We enjoyed our dinner at Mora, it feels like a wholesome neighbourhood restaurant in an unlikely location in Leyton. The baby octopus starter was delicious but small. The burrata was good but I would’ve preferred just the pomegranate than the rest of the accompaniment. We...More

Delicious food and good service. The pasta with truffles was lovely - the pasta had a bite, and the simple but incredibly tasty topping was excellent. We sat near the door so were slightly cold but other than that, lovely.

Delicious pasta and truffles. The food is a delight and wonderful service, where the menu is explained with passion. If you love Italian food, using the best ingredients and with a Sardinian heart - this is it. We’ll be back. Thank you.

Was recommended to Mora by a friend and when I heard it was in Leytonstone High Road (more food outlets than any other London street?) I was initially not thrilled but what a gem. It offers authentic Sardinian cooking which was new to me. There’s...More

Mora has been open for a few months now and I have visited it several times. It is streets ahead of the rest of the local eateries. It has superb food all cooked to order from a varied menu at reasonable prices. The waiting staff...More

This is not the type of place you expect to find at Harrow Green, Leytonstone high Road but it certainly is worth seeking it out! The postcode is E11 4PG. The baby octopus starter was fantastic as was the specialist mozzarella type cheese. Main courses...More

Nice little Sicilian restaurant in East London. Good service and tasty food. Can get noisy when busy. Had to shout to be heard. There is no chicken on the menu. I was told thats a “Sicilian Thing”. My guest is Italian and neither of us...More
