Simple idea, great place, hasn't changed in years. The only thing important here is the wine and the customers. Don't expect anything smart by way of decor, just enjoy the wine.

On the recommendation of a colleague, we booked in for a boozy lunch. Out of this world: simple food and extravagant (but cheap) wines. Will return.

Great venue for a glass of wine and some cheese and salamis. Tucked in the vaulted cellar (no phone signal) is a great escape from a busy London. Nothing fancy, just good wine and knowledgeable staff. Take a client, spouse or partner and enjoy yourselves...More

Buy some fine wine, tuck into salami and cheese and lose yourself for an afternoon. A fine stalwart with super friendly advice from the team on choosing the right wine for the occasion. A hidden gem near the Tower of London.

Not a book in sight just floor to ceiling wine racked as books would be in the library. Select a bottle and take it to be 'read' with balancing cheeses!

Good position a stone's throw from the Tower, just by Trinity House and the memorial garden to seafarers at war. Closer still to the exit from Tower Hill tube. A mix of wine merchant, wine bar and restaurant. Only used it to quaff a shared...More

First class location for a private management meeting. We will certainly be back. The wine was fantastic and the light snacks were a perfect complement.

The layout and location of the cellar is great and the wine bottles in their serried ranks fascinating, five stars for that but the food was only average. Admittedly it was a party fro around 50 people not a meal for a smaller group so...More
