I have been going to Khan's for a number of years and it has never disappointed. This time we took our children and it was great as usual.

OK, so good Indian food is probably not very hard to find in London, but this place was near our hotel, is nicely decorated, has good food and good service. There's even a 20% discount between 12 and 5:30. It's very close to the South Kensington Underground station. The fact that quite a few of the diners were Indian is... More

Nice enough atmosphere in this quaint little restaurant serving tasty 'English' Indian food. They are quite happy to adjust a dish to suit & the food is freshly cooked. For those who are connoisseurs of Indian food you may find this place a tad disappointing. For those who like a bog standard curry...this is for you!

This is truly the worst restaurant I have had the misfortune to eat in. It was a hot night. As they have no air conditioning, they opened up the front doors to allow the pollution in. It is at a busy set of traffic lights. The poppadoms are 75p each and then they charge 60p per person for the pickles... More

I've been going to Indian restaurants in London for many years and I've never been disappointed in the quality of the food or the service. It's always been top notch.

Food that we could not even recognise as Indian - weak, watery, deeply unsatisfying. Service was equally disappointing - rude, slow and unhelpful. We would recommend avoiding at all costs :(

The food here is okay, nothing very special. We could not find another Indian restaurant in the area. Service was a little spotty but not too bad.

Had a takeaway (delivered free locally) - took 40 mins on a quiet Monday evening, arrived nice and hot with friendly service. Three dishes tried - chicken jalfrehzi which I'd go back for - nice and spicy; chicken tandoori which tasted nice enough, two pieces on the bone, one of which didn't have much that meat on; and lamb baalti... The food was good. Service as very good. The restaurant is very well located and has a good array of South Asian Cuisine

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
