Just had a wonderful evening at Gaucho, the service was faultless, the music good, the atmosphere great. The food was amazing. I loved this venue it was special, relaxing but not stuffy- highly recommend

Popped in for a quick bite as it looked authentic Argentinian. Admittedly the steaks looked good, however we opted for burgers which had a highly processed consistency. Flavour was ok but the texture made you wonder where it was from. Ordered a side salad as well which was similarly questionable. Basically, the food just wasn't good. Service friendly, but slow.... Took my grandson there by chance and both his hamburger and my 1/2 portion steak and the chips were delicious. It was fun to eat outside. Simple and good.

I was taken there by a friend of mine and and it was nice experience. We had a nice wine, mix of meat, really felt comfortable. Overall enjoy this little gem in a great location.

I frankly cannot understand some of the nasty reviews I have read regarding Gaucho. We had lunch today and it was superb. What you get here is good meat, straightforward, no frills. This is what an Argentinian steakhouse is about - if you fancy something fancy head to any other Chelsea place and be ready to pay fortunes. The milanesa... More

I arrived there with a friend on a Saturday at 2pm. After ordering a couple of drinks we got into conversation and after finishing our drinks we were promptly told that if we were not to order more drinks or food that we would not be allowed to stay. At this point I thought they were joking. A few seconds... More

Oh dear, our previous visit was great, this time it was very disappointing. The prices are much higher. The sirloin was bland no flavour at all. The chicken breast was thirteen inches long, it had been (bang banged) but still not normal. Condiments were know brand bottles with the labels removed that had been filled with rubbish imitations. This restaurant... More

Really lovely atmosphere, we sat outside and it's like we were on holiday. Baby steak comes with chips and it was the perfect size, definitely don't need a starter either it's so filling (although they are delicious if you have room).

entered this rather grotty looking lonely establishment with high hopes on some class argentinian. this is chelsea so i thought quality likely to be good or at worst fair....one burnt tasteless flavourless empanada in and everything is looking grim....and yes the steak was similarly chewy and desperately uninspiring i was amazed they haven't called the receivers in yet. somebody do... Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
