Popped in for a light lunch, scrumptious samphire! Lovely ambiance & nicely tucked away. Will be back :)

A lovely local hub. My mum and I ducked in to avoid the rain on the way home and ended up having several (very good) hot chocolates and sampling some excellent cake. I've also previously been before with my dad for dinner. Excellent food and wine.

Lord knows how this cafe gets its reputation. We took our teenagers here for Sunday lunch and everything was well below par. Service, food, (Aunt Berries feeble frozen Yorkshire pudding!) ambience. Amateur.

Very popular local cafe restaurant. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Friendly informal atmosphere. Fixed menu with daily specials. Not really Provençal despite the name, more modern British bistro style. Good venue for lazy breakfast, meetings, as well as a cosy lunch or dinner.

I wish I could say something good but the fact is that it's really badly run. Lazy food preparation, expensive and the service is awful so I won't be going even if you pay me.

Eclectic Herne Hill staple, part of the local landscape for many years now, which says something in an area which though hasn't changed as much as Brixton, has nonetheless undergone huge changes over the last decade. Relaxed interiors, bathrooms and menu. Food is good.

Recommended by son. Interesting specials board so dived in for cod, with a broad bean and fennel casserole. Main courses for 6 plus bottle of prosecco for £99 can't be bad
