I am not sure what has happened to this place. New management? Whereas there used to be fabulous food - a choice of home made jams, delectable cakes and pastries, great eggs and breads, wonderful accompaniments, now there is none of this. Instead the range...is limited and decidedly poor quality. Rubbery, over cooked eggs, cold toast, a Singla jam from a tin and horrible coffee. The cafe was relatively empty and I understand why. What a shame that a wonderful place has descended so low!More

Great all day breakfast. Lots of amazing choices from a new menu and well executed. Fresh ingredients. Lovely neighbourhood place.

It is restaurant, but it is not. Infact, it is just bakery with few chairs and tables where you can eat something with coffee or tea. My love and I took chicken pie and lasagna and both were cold, stone cold. Maybe in London this...is normal but in my book it is not. It should be at least worm. All in all, OK but nothing much.More

This place has great food! But please check your extractor fans and HVAC. The noise ruins the ambiance of the place which is a real shame. The “machinery” is so loud you can’t think.

I have breakfast at Baker and Spice on my own or with friends a lot. Rashid is an excellent host. The Breakfast is delicious and there are original things to try. The pastries, biscuits, bread and cakes are very, very good. Everything is fresh and...made on the premises. The Coffee is excellent. The lunch things are very good too. You can sit outside and watch the world go by. Blankets and heaters are available if it is cold. Or you can sit in the cafe itself. The staff are friendly and and efficient. I much enjoy my visits.More

I had the best and largest meringue I have ever tasted and i have had many over the years. It was a Pavlova meringue very crisp on the outside and soft and chewy inside. compliments to the chef and all of the staff who make...this a must stop on a day out in London.More

A big shout-out to the Manager for his patience and efforts training new staff to provide the best food and staff service possible! The pastries, bread, coffee, juice and pre-made salad dishes were divine and delicious! Perhaps they could try a different recipe for yummy...fluffy pancakes, please?More

This cafe carefully labels all the ingredients of its excellent cakes and uses excellent milk for capucinos. Nice outside seating in summer months.

Really good service. The pastries are really nice especially the pistachio and choc au pain. Nice and big too along with good sized coffee which tasted good too.
