This is the best Shawarma (kebab) in London, and very affordable as well (cheaper than many doggy places).. They have a free salad buffet included with delicious tahini/ chilli/ and yogurt sauce. They also serve fresh juices. The service can be abrupt but don't take it personal as they're so busy, and work so hard through many orders.. If your... More

After Tukdin, I had an evening stroll in Bayswater and Queensway area. Shops here close early unlike where I live. It was only 8pm. With nowhere to go I headed towards Taza. The famous Taza. Hopefully it lives up to its reputation. Huge cylinders of lamb and chicken greet you as you enter the small shop. They easily are the... More

We were fascinated by the queue so we decided to try it out, big mistake! The shawarma was full of cabage which was later grilled but barely had any meat and the little slivers that were in there had no flavour! The garlic mayo sauce tasted weird and spoilt. Thankfully we had ordered only one revolting pita to share which... More

Delicious, I've been there so many times, always a big line, sometimes you need to wait 10-15min but it worth, absolutely delicious, simple, tasty and quality of the ingredients fresh. Very good value for the money

Good kebab. Friendly staff. Good service. Will be back again when in the area. We had a take away as it was far to. It's to try and eat in. The shop is quite compact so there is usually a queue out the door.

I buy from Taza more than five time in a week. I like this place because I and my girlfriendcan have a full dinner with less than 10 pounds. A shawerma is only 3.5. Their shawerma is always fresh because they sell it very quickly and it doesn't remain to get old. It is just good for take-away because atmosphere... More

I am a frequent reviewer of places I visit on my travels and have never given a bad review. If I come across a place which I deem not especially good, I would just not return there and put it down to possibly a 'bad luck' experience, but I will review this time as I think this place deserves a... An establishment popular with tourists, students and locals it serves really yummy chicken and lamb kebabs in small or large portions. I think the best part about this place is their yummy sauces they generously put into your kebabs. If you wish for a spicy option, they will put a spicy tomato based salsa in your kebab too. Customers who... More

Never miss the lamb shawarma whenever I'm in London. The meat is never dry like others. Very reasonably price as well. Yummy and value for money.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
