In the South Kensington pedestrian area there are many choices for a quick lunch. We chose this place because it looked like an authentic Chinese canteen and dishes have a good price (6 pounds each). However, the experience turn out quite bad. Most of the...More

Can not believe this restaurant does not have all 5 stars. Went here twice when staying in hotel around the corner. Had both takeaway and sit down. Amazing value for money and good portion size. Very tasty food and would come again for sure.

They charged me different prices before order and after order. The boss got annoyed and shouted with me while I was calm and spoke politely all the times. In terms of the food, maybe one should look at the kitchen it might be super dirty.

Food is amazing. Especially #1 (roast duck) and #12 (black pepper chicken). Very unique vibe and atmosphere. The OC staff is very caring and treats their guests like their own children. Especially the chief of staff (Key) is very friendly and always down for a...More

This place is cheap, basic and value for money. Two mains and soft drinks for £13 sat in the sunshine of Kensington. Food was tasty, hot and served quickly, bendy cutlery and cheap glasses but what do you expect at these prices? Villeroy & Boch!

When it’s good , it’s very, very good (and cheap) but when it’s bad it’s inedible. Pot luck, but at those prices it’s worth a punt.

Not sure what all the other reviews were expecting. When your plate of food is a £5 in South Kensington out of all places you can’t expect it to be spotlessly clean and the food to be freshly prepared from scratch. The place is tiny,...More

Very basic no frills Chinese cafe offering decent food at exceptional prices. At busy times there may be a wait for a table - and may have to share a table with other diners. We both had roast duck and crispy pork with rice -...More

I used to eat here often until one of my friends told me that he saw one of the servers put back leftover rice from a customer’s plate back to the rice cooker. (Gags) Food was mediocre at best -I used to come here because...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
