Very simple restaurant overlooking the small harbor of barcaggio. Gods choice of cheese plates and stuffed focaccia. Very quiet and relaxed.

We loved this restaurant when we went last year. Very creative and not overly expensive. This year not so good. Service was slow. Meal overpriced and generally blah. There are better options.

It was a bit of a drive to get to this very casual, harbor side restaurant in Barcaggio, at the most northern tip of Cap Corse, but it was certainly worth it! I ordered the fettuccine and fresh clams, and it was delicious!

Lovely situation right beside the sea, unassuming and friendly welcome from young waiter who took pains to try and explain the dishes: service was good and prompt. Fish soup with rouille and toasts was good; I liked the estabeche but it was too full of...fiddly bones for my partner (and a bit too dry). Nice flan for pudding. Compared to other fish restaurants in Cap Corse, seemed a bit pricey for the type/quantity of dishes (and some menu offerings were odd: why would you drive twenty or more kilometres over difficult roads to a Rough Guide-recommended fish restaurant and then order a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with chips?)
Looking at the pictures inside the restaurant while my partner paid the bill I received a rather frosty challenge from Madame in the kitchen, and I fear my explanation barely passed muster ... hardly the friendly Anglo-French welcome promised in the Rough 'Guide!More

Nice little seafood restaurant in front of the sea in Barcaggio.
Food is good but prices are too high (fresh seafood is generally expensive but the actual quantity of seafood does not justify the price of some dishes of this restaurant).
Friendly service.
Good wine...list at reasonable prices.More

We took the boat from macchi, knowing that there was going to be a 3hour walk back. So to fortify ourselves we stopped for lunch
This was superb, the sardine in filo pastry and the courgette pancake were both new and full of layers of...flavours
The squid for mains was served with a fabulous ratatouille and Jens tuna meat balls with curried veg again fabulous
Expensive but worth itMore
