We visited early Sunday evening and the restaurant was quite busy on our arrival. We were shown straight to a table, having pre-booked, but then it went downhill. We were completely ignored for over ten minutes and then our server appeared without making any apology...More

We were a party of 6, including 4 hungry teenagers, looking for breakfast. The menu satisfied all our needs - vegetarian, gluten intolerant. The pancakes in particular were a huge hit. Service was so friendly, we will go back the next time we're in Liverpool.

Visited Browns with my wife and both of us had slow-cooked pork belly which was tasty, well accompanied by beans, savoury apple pie and mashed potatoes. Meat was slightly on the tough side (given that its was supposed to be slow-cooked) but not inedible. All...More

We meet up with some friends for some afternoon cocktails 2 weeks ago. The cocktails were excellent, hand prepared with fresh ingredients and the bartenders offered helpful advice & knowledge on the menu they provided. I will definately be back.

A nice meal. We both had Cod and Chips, very good quality food. Considering the price, I would expect to be able to change items i.e. ice cream for custard or pea puree for peas or other veg. No custard! Unbelievable!! It wouldn't cost much...More
