We booked a table for Mother's Day looking forward to the 3 course meal. Unfortunately our first experience here, waited over 20 minutes to order drinks on arrival. Over 30 mins to take our food order which we were told the lamb main course had all sold out which we found strange as we had a 2pm sitting and everyone... More

We had come to look at one of the exhibitions in the Maritime Museum all of which are very informative and were going for a cuppa in the downstairs café when are friends said there was a café upstairs. As we never realised there was a second café on the premises we were keen to give it a go. So... More

Being in school term time at a quiet time of year (early March) the place was very quiet but, even so, it is a very spacious place and extremely pleasant to sit in, affording nice views of the area. We had the iconic backdrop of the Liver Building! The food on offer was excellent for us for lunch: the soup... More

Away from the crowds with service. Good lunch menu and great afternoon tea. Plenty of space and a panoramic view of the docks. Not expensive for the experience.

We visited this pleasant place for afternoon tea. The service was competent and friendly and food and drink was of a good standard and reasonably priced. Overall worth going to. NB The dining room is on the fourth floor but they do have a lift so if you have difficulties with stairs I would contact them to see if the... More

First visit to the city and was not disappointed. Decided to have lunch here as they offered scouse. While in Liverpool..... Enjoyed it! On the top floor of the maritime museum it enjoys good views over Albert Dock. Good value.

For a traditional British afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones, this is a great place. Get a seat near to a window for great views of the docks...
