which we were and booked a table at this restaurant. The menu has a variety of seafood options as well as a few pasta dishes. We had the branzino which was excellent. We were seated on the second floor which can be a bit noisy, but the decor is lovely.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review, the Branzino certainly is a dish that should be described as "excellent"! Its great to hear you enjoyed it, and its also great to hear your compliments on the decor of our brand new private dining space upstairs. Its a great place to enjoy your meal, and I'm sure you noticed the... More

Went to this restaurant 4 times and never got disappointed. Friendly staff, super tasty food, good service and all deserts are homemade. Never travelled to Italy, but the best tiramisu I ever had it was in this place. Well done!

What an experience! If you're into your fish - this is your heaven. I had and the filleted sea bass with sauteed spinach and fried veg. Probably the nicest meal I've had this year. Will definitely be going back

Went on a Friday night, glad we had booked. Small but two rooms so plenty in. Greeted with a smile as if we were friends. Looked after royally by waiters and waitresses alike. Nothing too much trouble. We love fish and they do it well. The fritto misto is exceptional as were the fishcakes. Nicest and tastiest piece of plaice I... More

Three hours for the meal. Nearly thirty minutes to order, drinks took forever to come, got all the orders wrong, when food eventually came there's was a fork full of pasta. Horrific. I advise people not to come. Never again.

I am extremely disheartened to read your review, and also, may I add, very surprised! On Saturday night your party dined with us, and as you know, our kitchen got into some trouble, as they were under a lot of pressure, due to an extremely busy service and all of the customers arriving at similar times. Unfortunately, this impacted on... More

Having booked and been many times before, we were not disappointed again. Fish pie out of this world, staff really friendly as always and desserts - well you have to have the tiramisu, one of the best out there. Took my little boy who loved every bit of it. Highly recommend but must book.

This is one of the more expensive options to eat on Bold Street, and its good without being great. Get a window table if you can. The muscles are very good and the potions generous. There is a good selection of seafood, including a number of daily specials. I had the crab risotto, which was also very good. Maybe a... More

Thank you very much for your wonderfully positive review, despite the title!! We are very proud to be a part of Bold Streets bustling and independent food scene, we were, in fact, one of the very first restaurants to open on Bold Street, and as you can see we are still going strong feeding the fish loving community of Liverpool!... Had a leisurely lunch there with a friend. Situated at the top of Bold Street, near the Bombed out Church, the venue was great for people-watching. Staff friendly and efficient. Food excellent - tasty and well presented. Starters were 1 calamari and 1 haddock rarebit - both quite filling. Main courses 1 pollo Milanese (chicken and spaghetti) and 1 of... More
