One of my best Fish 'n trips

I'm a fish fanatic. I always have to find a fish restaurant before I feel I'm by the sea. I first found Italian Club Fish about five years ago when I had an amazing Fritto Misto - one of the best I've ever had - but this time all I wanted was fish and chips, cooked easy, in an easy... read more

We were given a dish of olives whilst ordering our food - they were the biggest, juiciest and most delicious olives I've ever tasted! For starters, we had oysters (with champagne) which were perfect! All four of us felt our meals were some of the best we'd had. Definitely recommend

I used to work close to Bold Street and always wondered why it was such a missed opportunity. A thoroughfare linking the universities to the shopping city with such a great history, it needs to improve and create a niche. Well, no it has with some amazing niche shops and lots of restaurants, many really pushing the quality and variety... More

We were looking for a good seafood restaurant and this place was recommended by a local. Our expectations were met, good food (fresh fish), good service and the place has a cozy feel to it. My husband liked it so much, he wanted to go back again for our last night, last dinner in Liverpool. Service was not exactly speedy... More

I really enjoyed my starter of prawns and squid, really well cooked and well presented. My main was somewhat of an average meal, in fairness I guess because it a pasta dish. Overall I enjoyed the food and thought the restaurant was both clean and presentable. The let down sadly was the service, there were 3 staff present who I... More

My husband and I had a less than impressive visit here which is a shame because all our previous visits had been great. We waited quite a while for our starter to arrive but we were served before the couple next to us who ordered a good ten minutes before us. Then we waited ages for our main course which... More

Was looking for somewhere to have lunch and it was my first time in Liverpool, so, this was a random find. Ordered the tomato pasta with king crabs. Delicious!! The service was good as well. A quiet place to relax and enjoy good food. Glad to have found this place! *thumbs up*

We went to this lovely restaurant on a busy Friday night, having always admired it from a distance as students! The service we received was extremely welcoming and friendly, we were even given two free drinks due to there being a very slight delay in us getting our menus. The food here is very fresh, well presented and some of... More

We went for an early evening dinner after trying to get into Leaf but finding it overcrowded and noisy. We hadn't booked but the restaurant wasn't full and we were offered any table we wanted, front or rear. We ordered a couple of nibbles to start then mains from the specials board, lemon sole for me, tuna for my partner.... More

I went here for a date, the food was amazing, really beautiful. The wine menu was great (which helped being with a master of wine) The restaurant did get a little warm though as its quite cosy and was full. Being full was a sign of the great food but the temperature was a little too warm for me. Would... More
