This is a pleasant restaurant but there is a lack of ambiance. Some of the staff are pleasant and helpful but others give the impression they would rather be elsewhere. If you have the specials menu it is good value although there is a discrepancy in the size of the main course. One of the party had chicken boudin' and... More

A trip to Lincoln. The second this year. First time was on a hot day in May. This second return visit in August had in mind a viewing of the Poppy Wave in the grounds of Lincoln Castle. A very blustery day threatening a rain which didn't. Hanging on to hand rails in the strong wind as we walked the... More

We have been to Cafe Zoot a few times and have always had a good meal. This place had Tequila's advertised so we have also been there - don't bother!

After reading other reviews I was looking forward to a good meal. The starter and dessert was good. However, I had shoulder of lamb for my main. It turned out to be all bone and fat, there was no actual meat! The accompanying lump of mash potato and chopped tomato sauce covering the bone and fat wasn't particularly inspiring either,... More

We came upon this place by chance. It was spotlessly clean. The service was very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. We had the boullibaisse which was delicious, followed by a scrummy lemon tart. We will definitely visit again when we are next in Lincoln.

Description
Cafe Zoot is a privately owned business opened in 2000, located in the heart of historic Lincoln. During this time we have become renowned for consistently offering quality produce at great value, where a lively atmosphere is commonplace and friendly staff are attentively at your service.

In January 2013 Cafe Zoot underwent an extensive refurbishment. After listening to our customers on ways in which we could improve our restaurant, Cafe Zoot now boasts a brand new look, and a much more spacious interior.

We are open seven days a week from 8.30Am till late and offer a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu. Throughout the week we also offer a Lunch Special Two Course Menu for £8.50 And an All Day Special Two Course Menu for £11.95. (Everyday except Saturday from 5.00Pm till 10.30Pm)

Our Chefs have worked hard on designing a menu with the classic dishes our customers love as well as offering an exciting A'la Carte menu with dishes to get your taste buds going!!
We always use fresh quality produce and our dishes our homemade and cooked to order.

Cafe Zoot can cater for various functions, whether you fancy a Champagne Breakfast, Birthday or Anniversary Celebration, we can also cater for Business conferences and meetings. Whatever the occasion come and celebrate with us!!
