What a delicious lunch of avocado on toasted sourdough bread topped with grilled halloumi cheese. Good selection of dishes from light bites to more substantial mains and also a dessert if you find the room to eat one. All representing great value for the portions you get. I enjoyed every mouthful and will be back to try other dishes on... More

Visited for lunch and to look round shop. Only small selection of soft drinks, mostly hot drinks and alcoholic. Really nice food, we had the rarebit and sausage sandwich and a cheese board. Both were brilliant. Friendly staff. Good portion sizes. Really like that the shop so lucky dip cheese cuts so you can buy a variety. Would recommend this... More

We finally spent a voucher that we received last Christmas! Several cheeses were tasted by two enthusiastic members of staff. We were spoilt for choice but finally settled on three. As all previous reviewers have said..if you like cheese this is the shop to visit!

While browsing the amazing array of cheeses to purchase, why not stop for a delicious lunch. A warm, bright atmosphere with room for maybe ten, this cafe offers fabulous service and a superb selection of dishes perfect for lunch. From smoked salmon with a cheese scone (comes with a little salad) to cheese souffle (again with a salad), camembert baked... More

I was taken to this little shop-cum-eaterie as a birthday present from my son and family. What a wonderful choice! Every member of the small staff was enthusiastically helpful and the food was pure Heaven for anyone who likes cheese. I chose the cheese souffle, and will have the same again every time that I return (which, I hope, will... More

The food is always first class and served by people who obviously have a passion for food and a flair for looking after people. After your meal, try the cheese counter to take some goodies home with you - it makes supermarket cheese taste like soap!

This was our first visit after the revamp and we were not disappointed! The menu had a great selection and the smaller dining area was nice and cosy! I went for the sourdough/avocado/chilli and grilled haloumi main and my wife had the double baked cheese soufflé. Both tasted amazing and a lovely cheese based meal. Staff were very friendly and... I had been promising myself to pop in to this place for a while, and was not disappointed. My first visit was to buy cheese for a dinner night in, and the lady there offered some good advice as to which cheeses would be a good selection. The second was to have lunch. The cheeseboard was very generous with 4... More

We did not eat at the restaurant but rather tasted the samples which were lovely. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The selection of cheese is great and not too expensive. The cheese and ham croissant was delicious! Packed full of cheese with premium jamon. I'd recommend a stop to anyone going to Lincoln. It's just at the bottom of... More
