We came in for a cup of tea and we were overwhelmed by how kind and welcoming the owners were. We had a lovely chat and felt as if we really knew them by the time we left. Situated in an ideal place for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of Lincoln high street, it is now a... More

We visited the newly refurbished Cheese Society on an annual visit to see friends in Lincoln, we used to enjoy visiting it's previous cafe set up but were pleasantly surprised with the new facility and would describe it as a very aesthetically pleasing one stop shop for cheese. As tempted as I was by my usual choice of the delicious... More

Very pleasant, friendly staff and an excellent cheesy (obviously) menu. We shared a cheese board, with GF chutneys and GF bread which was absolutely delicious. Good choice of drinks including TWO ginger beers, at least one of which was GF (I didn't check the other). As we were travelling in the area for a few days by car without chiller... More

Fantastic service....and the double baked cheese soufflé was delicious. Amazing warmed gluten free bread with fresh side salad. Staff member excellent. Only downside is limited seating.

Been on holiday in UK for over a month and this was one of the few places that offered more than tuna mayo, ham and cheese or egg mayo sandwiches. I love cheese but can no longer eat it so it was a risky choice but the wonderful staff member suggested replacing the halloumi with smoked salmon so had a... More

Popped in for a coffee and we were really impressed by the menu and the food that was being served. Although we wanted no more than coffee and olives and breads we will definitely be back to sample more. Staff were friendly helpful and it was a really lovely enviroment. A great find in beautiful Lincoln.

If you like cheese you'll love this place! If you don't like cheese... Probably best to avoid it. Thankfully we love cheese and will be back! Great menu. Good service. Terrific cheese. Love it.
