Incredible food and delightful service. Thanks for letting us know how the pistachio sponge was achieved. We thought it might've been magic! Will defiantly return, possibly every anniversary as we had got married the day before our visit! Thanks for adding to the wonderful wedding memories x

We visited this week, with high hopes of good food, after reading reviews. The front of house staff were excellent but the food, certainly the turbot, was bland and under seasoned, with a heavy strange sauce, more suited to meat than fish. The chicken wirh noodles was just ok, certainly not memorable. The pork belly starter was lovely. The menu was... More

The Jews House is a very small intimate restsurant, which offers fine dining at a very affordable price. The menu is very small, which I am always glad to see, as the quality of the food always seems to be better. The staff & service was excellent & there is also a very good selection of wines. I had the... More

I had high hopes for Jews house after hearing fantastic things from friends, the starter was delicious, miso pork which was soft and succulent, this was accompanied by a melon sorbet which I felt didn't have a place on this dish. The main was perfectly cooked but lack lustre, for me it was missing something. The staff were fantastic but... More

Came to Jews House with the in laws to celebrate 2 important life celebrations and honestly could not have picked better! The restaurant is cosy but very well decorated with a beautiful fire and immaculate table settings etc- thinks lovely linen and sparking glasses just begging to be chinked together in toast!! Food was delicious and really very high quality... More

The service and attention to detail are excellent. The food is well executed with interesting textures and flavour combinations. The halibut with figs, Serrano ham and butternut squash purée was faultless. The wine list was very competitively priced. My one niggle was my husband's portion of lamb was parsimonious.

We just celebrated a birthday meal at this very fine restaurant. It was marvellous. The food itself was exquisite: original, inventive, well cooked, and well presented. And the service was perfectly judged, attentive but relaxed, not fussy. A good wine list. Many nice little details - the fancy breads in the burlap bag kept warm with a bag of ceramic... More

Spent a night in Lincoln recently and stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was absolutely wonderful. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about the produce and the wines. Service was excellent.

Very friendly, genuine, attentive service. Received a free glass of champagne as it was our wedding anniversary. Food was presented well.

Did fear the worst sitting in the upstairs lounge drinking our gins listening to the waitresses being told to smile as they went down the stairs, but once down at our table all became clear. This is good old fashioned care and service. Beautiful breads served with Lincolnshire poacher butter. We had the belly pork and melon sorbet starter which... More
