First time we have eaten here despite living in Lincoln for many years. The restaurant is tastefully decorated which creates a warm atmosphere. The food was very nice (especially the crab starter) but I wasn't convinced the food was relative to the prices. The only thing I did not like about this place was the fact they kept a £30 deposit... Went for the lunch for less menu on Saturday. This was our first visit but it will not be our last. The welcome was very warm. Small restaurant but lovely atmosphere. The food was the best we've eaten in Lincoln and we are spoilt for choice as there is such variety. The starter was great and when I complimented the... More

Me and my wife went out for her birthday and booked a month in advance online for a weekend in August. Unbeknown to us it was actually The Jews House 10th Anniversary celebrations. It was great to sample their best dishes over the past 10 years and sampling various ranges of wines. The staff were fantastic and the chef managed... More

Last night we had a very special private dining experience at this restaurant. The team couldn't have been more helpful. Gavin, the owner and chef, created a fabulous tapas menu which was superb. There was something for everyone and those with allergies were well catered for. It was great value for money. It's highly recommended and we will definitely return... More

We were here this week to celebrate a university graduation. The meal was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. It was pricey but well worth it for a special occasion. Thoroughly recommend it.

The food at Jews House is fantastic but as a fine dining establishment, you can imagine this comes at a cost. Thankfully my girlfriend and I came with a gift voucher as we both had a starter and a main and shared a bottle of processo and this came to nearly £100. The atmosphere isn't really relaxed, it does have... More

The 14C building is a fabulous setting for this lovely restaurant. From the generous amuse bouche of pork belly, the bread kept warm with a bag of heated stones to the cheese selection to finish the meal we enjoyed every morsel. The wine list was varied and reasonable.

Incredible food and delightful service. Thanks for letting us know how the pistachio sponge was achieved. We thought it might've been magic! Will defiantly return, possibly every anniversary as we had got married the day before our visit! Thanks for adding to the wonderful wedding memories x

We visited this week, with high hopes of good food, after reading reviews. The front of house staff were excellent but the food, certainly the turbot, was bland and under seasoned, with a heavy strange sauce, more suited to meat than fish. The chicken wirh noodles was just ok, certainly not memorable. The pork belly starter was lovely. The menu was... More
