Our family were looking for a nice place to take our host for the week say thank you. It was perfect... as we entered from the cold wet Steep Hill we were greeted immediately & our coats, hats & scarves were whisked away & hung for us & we were ushered to a sitting room upstairs. A peaceful haven with... More

We went to the Jews house for New years eve hoping for a wonderful experience.. My elderly mother was not able to make the evening which we told the staff on arrival. When we asked for our bill at the end of the evening only half of our deposit was showing. We showed the waiter our £100.00 deposit confirmation. he... More

Exceptional food served by beautifully dressed and friendly waitresses. The whole operation is a credit to the owners. For me the coconut pannacotta was the stand out dish and my husband devoured the lamb! The meal and service was faultless so the only thing I can do is make a suggestion: housed in such a wonderfully historic building why not... More

It was almost to the point of faultless but not quite. From the moment of the very warm welcome, we were entranced to eat in such a wonderful old building. The meal opened with some really tasty hot bread, followed by interesting and tasty amuse bouche, By the time we got to the starters we were already quite full and... More

Visited Lincoln for my birthday and fortunately my husband booked a table here to celebrate. We had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were welcoming and professional, the restaurant both cosy and elegant and the food sublime. We had three courses from the a la carte menu and were very full by the end! The... More

Was treated to this night out and the taster menu as a birthday surprise. The food and service was amazing, not rushed at all and lots of effort put in to accommodate a vegie choice too. Defo recommended and would love to return in the future.

This was our second visit for a pre-Christmas meal for the family. Just as good as the first. The menu choice was wide and the chef had made great efforts to deal with possible allergies, really welcome as one of our group had multiple problems. A suitable meal came from the menu without problem and was excellent - top marks... More

We ate here recently and were beyond disappointed with almost every aspect of this restaurant. I could write nothing short of a biblical epic on all the negative aspects of this restaurant. However, in the interest of not wasting any more of good people's time with this restaurant, here are the salient points- Firstly the staff are incredibly pretentious to... More
