My friend brought me here last year for my birthday, the women who served us was hurrying us up all the time we were eating ,and very noisy when moving cutlery . She was that loud we could not hear ourselves talk. We hear it had new owners so we tried again and the food was lovely and the staff... More

Excelled BBQ lunch today. Salads were very fresh and tasty. Meat good quality. Waiter and chef so friendly. Shame more people weren't there to enjoy the BBQ. Will definitely be back. Top marks to the staff on duty!

This restaurant changed hands recently and this was our first visit with the new owners. We absolutely loved the menu and our meals were delicious. I had tempura mussels with an Asian dip followed by smoked salmon and orawn tagliatelle in champagne sauce and then berry Eton mess for dessert. It was all gorgeous and perfectly portioned and at £68... More

Popped into today for Friday Lunch for our first visit. We both had the swordfish and loved it! The restaurant was quite busy for a Friday lunch and the service was excellent. Food is cooked from fresh. So we did not mind waiting a short while for the food which was beautifully created and presented by the chef. My wife... More

Tasty scones with jam and cream. In the cake line almond slice, carrotcake and the the most delicious chocolate brownie -very rich. Plenty of hot tea and service was... More

I visited on good Friday and forgot to review. Having previously left a poor review for this place, I was so pleased a cherished local venue seems to be on the up again. We had great wine and wonderful fish and it really was a lovely meal. We returned for the Sunday BBQ a couple of weeks ago, sat outside... More

lovely staff shame about the food, was really disappointed as This brassiere was recommended. The dining room needed a good clean. two of the choices on the menu we picked were not available the bread was however delicious. Expensive and overrated.

We visited Macy's in January as I had heard from a colleague that they were doing a special deal for afternoon tea - half the usual price. We are partial to afternoon tea so we decided to go and give it a try. The brasserie is located in a lovely little village, and the premises are clean and tidy and... More
