Sadly, The Boot Room fails on every level. We were a group of 12 celebrating a special birthday and we all felt that the service was amateurish, the food disappointing and the wine list sadly lacking. Sorry Boot Room you just don't cut it!

We had a travel zoo offer for 4 people which included a glass of prossecco, a main and a dessert. The food was excellent , very tasty and well presented. One of our party needed gluten free food which was accommodated no problem from bread to shortbread biscuits with the creme brulee. The staff were friendly and service efficient during... More

I had a a great meal here on valentines day, the set menu had lots of lovely options. I can't complain at all about the food, drink or service, all was perfect. Having looked at the main menu we will definitely be returning.

Really good food and excellent service. Nice atmosphere too. Lovely photographs of shoes all around and old wooden shoe lasts on the table as recognition of the build having been a show factory originally.

OK it was a freezing cold evening but despite a warm welcome and tasty food, my overwhelming feeling was that I was very cold indeed! Modern British food. Starters were OK. Could do with more least fussy, less spicy options. Mains were fine. Desserts fabulous. It is the setting that is the selling point here. Lovely room and friendly professional... More

There was work going on in the street and footpath outside, which made access difficult, but we persisted, and we were glad we did! Service was polite, efficient and friendly, even though we were a little late arriving and looking for food. Interesting pictures of shoes and boots on the wall! Food was good. We had starters and desserts, as... More

My partner and I visited The Boot Room for the first time last Saturday lunchtime. The food was beautiful and all very fresh. The steaks we had were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

The food is really good and the service is ok. The only problem eating at this Restaurant is it can be cold and whilst they have some plug in heaters but they dont work well enough.
