I love going here for eggs royale and coffee. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant and the staff are helpful and attentive. If I had to find reason to complain, I would suggest that the hollandaise sauce is always bordering on cold so would suggest this is taken into consideration before serving. Otherwise, near perfect place to eat breakfast and... More

It's a bit small to get around in there and always busy, just goes to s how how good the food is! This place makes the best and unusual sandwiches! My only complaint would be that I don't like the polystyrene containers they out the food in - would be good to see a more environmentally friendly way of dishing... More

Have eaten here for lunch on many occasions and will keep going back. They make a great pot of tea and the food is always fresh and tasty.

I visited with my family for afternoon tea. It was lovely, the sandwiches were yummy and the cakes were delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly. I would totally recommend it.

Visited here for a celebratory lunch, don't be fooled by the small looking interior, this place is actually a lot larger on the inside! The choice on the menu is wonderful from sandwiches and jacket potatoes with every topping combination you can think of to tasty main meals. I had a plateful of pasta. The food was home made and... We stopped off for tea and cake here during a Christmas shopping trip. The service was excellent. I ordered something by mistake and after it had been served they exchanged for something else without a problem The chocolate brownie was the best I have had The prices are what you'd expect A traditional tea room in a busy city centre

Visited with my friend for breakfast just before Christmas and it was lovely! Loved the old world feel to it. We both had the full English breakfasts with hot drinks and were served them with excellent smiley service. Will be returning soon

I had cheese and potato pie with baked beans. Tastes like good old fashioned school dinners (in a good way). Place was really busy and as the venue us quite small, this can make it seem a little crowded. Nice coffee too!

I've been using Mrs Bridges for years. It's a lovely little traditional tea shop/cafe. The service on very busy days can be slow but always very welcoming. Highly recommended for tea breaks, lunch and meals with friends
