What's not to like about a lovely tea room cafè which is spotlessly clean and serving high quality food - particularly breakfast. Friendly staff. Good food. Great location.

Great choice of cakes and teas. We tried the coffee cake and the Victoria sponge. Great tasting, and can tell they're home made. Friendly staff, and generally very welcoming wee tea room. Definitely would recommend if you like something more unique than 'a chain' restaurant.

Highly recommended, little gem of a tea, room in the centre of Windermere village. The owner waited on the tables with brisk efficiency and nothing was too much trouble. I was served with a very generous slice of fruit cake which was as good as any I have tasted. Excellent value for money. I can't wait to visit here again.

A really cute place. Clean, quirky. Delicious food too. We sat outside which even though it was not a fabulous day we still had a really nice time. Staff very pleasant.

We visited Brambles with our two little boys (6 & 10 months) on a VERY wet lunchtime on our holiday. The staff were lovely. There were toys & things to do for the boys & a highchair for our little one. The food was very nice for our lunchtime requirements. Cosy little cafe.

Popped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon. 2 Rocky-roads and 2 carrot cakes and back at our holiday house......... Licking lips and still talking about how good they are (24hrs Later). Thanks for the great friendly service and gorgeous cakes. We will be back, this time sit in.

Stopped off this morning and, after a walk in heavy rain, I needed a coffee and something to eat. Very pleasant staff, clean cafe with wide selection of home-made cakes and snacks and good value for money. Would certainly go there again. Space for parking outside and shop on ground floor are an added bonus.

Brambles serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. The service was good from very friendly & helpful staff who went above and beyond to facilitate a wheelchair user. A pleasure to recommend

Lovely place to visit for soup and a sandwich with a pot of tea or whatever you fancy to eat, good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Service is excellent and the owners are friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. I'm only sorry I didn't have room for a jam and cream scone but maybe next time !

Thank Jennifer H
