Don't think I've ever tasted a better scone. Very welcome break on the Ullswater way. Had a fantastic tray of tea, cakes and scones and a warm welcome on a wet Bank Holiday Sunday. Recommended.

The Lowther Barn is an excellent stop on the Howtown to Glenridding section of the Ulswater Way. The view is spectacular and the staff are friendly. The selection of scones is lovely and the coffee is good.
