Stumbled upon this jewel as a tourist then as a resident of Penrith. Great value for money and a welcome break from the run of the mill chain pub that is just down the road. Visit and enjoy.

Many locals eat and drink here so the atmosphere is a busy but warm one. The menu has something for everyone, the food is well cooked and presented, the staff are very friendly/helpful and the prices are very reasonable indeed. Highly recommended
We really enjoyed eating here; the food was delicious and plentiful and the service impeccable! Just a lovely experience.
The staff are lovely here but the food is pricey for what you get. Don't get me wrong, it is nice and the environment is lovely... but the food is expensive.
