We have been here previously and love sitting in the conservatory watching the world go by! Our food was delicious, the portion sizes are smaller than they used to be... There was an Australian girl who was 10/10 for service, absolutely perfect. But the other staff were not as good! We ordered drinks when our main course arrived, she came... More

Excellent place to have lunch. The food was first class and the staff made us very welcome. The menu was varied with plentry to chose from. We Also had drinks from the bar and a tab was held open for us to add more to our bill, for coffee etc.

Four adults and a little cocker spaniel were made very welcome here and the bartender was exceptional offering advice and keeping us watered. The food was top notch as was the service and we will definitely visit again on our next visit

Checked in to the hotel and had a quick walk around town but everywhere was busy so we returned to the hotel and found a table and ordered the turkey and tinsel toasty for £6. The toasty comes with a token salad and was very nice.

Visited for an evening meal. Service was OK but food was tasteless. I had seafood in a basket. If I closed my eyes I wouldn't have been able to tell you what the food was.Chips were limp and tasteless. All in all very disappointing and not an experience I will be repeating. Not cheap either!

We use this Bar/Lounge every time we visit Keswick. It is comfortable, has a real fire during the winter months, entertainment in the way of singers/musicians on Friday/Saturday nights. The staff are warm and friendly and welcoming , one being Julia ( I am not good with names) who always has a pleasant smile and shows interest in you and... More

Had evening meal , but was very disappointed we ordered 2 steak and ale pies because on the menu it stated they had a short crust top so we assumed it would come in a deep dish with just a pie top. It arrived not very well presented looking like something you would get from a average cafe not a... More

It was pouring down outside and saw a sign staying they where dog friendly; they are, but only in the conservatory, which is ok so nice worries there. Staff really friendly, think the bar man was called John, but he was seemed a local character and was really helpful and friendly. There were other members of staff who talked to... More
