You know that sinking feeling you get on the last day of your holiday? You've had a great time, and don't want it to end? Well, The Filling Station Cafe is the perfect antidote! Friendly staff, great coffee (or a pint of tea - yay!) and a brilliant breakfast menu. Between us, we had bacon & egg subs and pancakes;... More

Mrs LJ and I popped in for coffee two mornings ago. Excellent well priced coffee and a lovely brunch. Eggs Florentine and Eggs Blackstone (we went half and half) which was cooked and presented perfectly. Service was quick and friendly. It was the first time Mrs LJ had been but she was making a list of things on the menu... More

Had a great lunch here with my kids, my sister and her family. The staff were great, the food was brilliant and I'd certainly recommend it if you're in the area. The only let down? They didn't have any t-shirts in my size, but I now know they'll be doing mail order before Christmas. Seriously, go here if you're in... More

This is a great Cafe to call in for refreshments if your travelling around the Keswick Area. Motorcycles welcome; this cafe has a classic motorcycle diner theme. Great coffee & food to revive you. Staff are really nice & friendly and very helpful Well Recommended :-)

Calling here has become one of the reasons I visit the Lakes. Food is very good, reasonably priced, coffee is good and generously sized. Always the first place we stop when we come to Keswick.

£3.95 for a coffee , been coming here for years and prices rise every year . Will be looking for a new cafe to go in the future . Sadly because this cafe has become popular with tourists the prices are getting silly for food and drinks . Service is totally crap

Even though we have recently updated our menu our coffee prices are still the same as they were on the previous menu. We have only increased our coffee ONCE since opening in 2011 when our drink prices increased by around 10p (20p for a pint) to reflect the increase in price of roasted coffee beans from our suppliers at the... This place is ok as long as your not in a rush. 25mins just for a couple of lattes. A woman ordered a cup of tea before me and I noticed her come back and ask where it was. However I saw them serve a motorcyclist straight away while she was still waiting.

Visited this place at the end of a family holiday and while it was OK it is certainly not a biker cafe by any measure I have. It is also not that particularly family friendly as they, and I quote, "are not allowed to alter the menu" so when there wasn't really anything my 3 year old wanted we had... More
