Often call in here for coffee and cake. Dog friendly place to eat. No complaints, staff are always helpful and friendly. Havent had lunch here but it always looks nice. Its close by to Fitz Park so we always exercise the dog there, then call in to the cafe afterwards.

Lovely meal for the family. Staff are very friendly with great surroundings. Portions were generous and all our meals came with a lovely bowl of salad.

Friendly staff, but took at least 40 minutes for food to arrive after ordering. Huge portions especially the pizza, but stodgy and none of us finished. Sadly will not be returning.

Friendly reception from what we assumed to be the manager at the busy Lakes Bar and Bistro, who sorted us a table for two without a booking, and sat us down with a drink outside while there was a short wait for a table. This was refreshing after being turned away from a number of other places with varying degrees... More

Only a small restaurant so make sure you book as always busy in the evening. The Sunday lunch was excellent there is a choice of a small or large portion. I had roast beef which was really tasty with lots of succulent meat. Served with roast potatoes , veg and a Yorkshire pudding. The food takes a while to come... More

I've been to this place a few times this year and the food is always excellent.Good selection of draught beers and lagers, the Warsteiner comes highly recommended. It is advisable to pre book a table at a weekend because the bistro is usually very busy and understandably so.

We booked an evening meal here on Saturday 13th August. At the time of booking - mid afternoon - we spoke to the manager/head waiter and he said they were pretty booked up but managed to fit us in. We arrived a little early for the meal that night but were able to have a drink outside while our table... More

Stopped in here after browsing shops in Keswick for a quick bite to eat and coffee. Very quiet when we went in, service was good, staff were friendly, food was nice.
