It was very busy So we thought it would be a good indication that the food was good Far from it it was awful The fish was so hard like cardboard My friend got Scampi it was much the same My other friend had the roast beef it was like a piece of shoe leather the puddings worse than school... More

This comfortable pub had lovely service, with mixed quality food, as one would expect from the fantastic, a little too good to be true prices. The steak and kidney pie was amazing, but the tomato soup and sticky toffee pudding with watery custard were clearly dirt cheap. Generous portions though, and a good meal, easy on the wallet after a... More

Fairly cheap meals compared to the rest of Keswick so we weren't expecting too much. Our meals varied: the steak and kidney pie was good, the plaice was average, the veg lasagne was microwaved dry, stuck to the bottom of the dish but tasted OK. Only peas and carrots for veg but they were fine. Portions were generous. Not a... More

Miserable food - ploughmans consisted of a sad little roll with cheese and pickle and a few bits of salad for £7.50 - not worth it at all. Tuna pasta was watery and tasteless for £8. Quorn burger and chips was the best although still nothing to get excited about. If you're calling in for a snack then a bowl... More

What struck me about the food in this pub is that somewhere there is a nursing home without its chef, or the chef is moonlighting in the Oddfellows. Very low quality, luke warm food and veg that was boiled within an inch of its life. I ordered potatoes with my steak but was pleased the order was messed up and... More

Tasty bar meal. A bonus was the pub entertainment. Friendly singing duo with fun banter that involved the customers and had great song choices. We had a toe tapping evening😀

me and the wife had haddock chips and peas , it was the worst ever , the beer was warm , the food was cheap but the beer was expensive , I suppose its my own fault for being a tight fisted old yorkshire git and going for the cheapest thing on the menu , but trust me avoid this... More

Found the Oddfellow Arms when out and about, needed a rest after walking for hours in the sun. The beer garden is massive and was very busy in the hot august sun...lots of people were having food and on looking at what they were eating, decided to go back for a meal later on that night, was not disappointed, food...
