I visit this smashing restaurant every time I visit Kendal, so that's about once a month. I love the choice of food, the wonderful tastes and presentation. Usually I cannot fault it, but.... when I visited it on 13th July I was taken aback by a large dog entering, who with its owner was seated a bit further back from... More

Despite pre-booking for a party of 9 and informing the staff (twice) that we had a small baby with us, upon arrival our group were turned away because we were 'not clear enough about the requirements for the child' and they didn't have adequate room - stating twice that they were 'very busy tonight'. Looking at the establishment, it is... More

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday night and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Would highly recommend, especially the seafood risotto. The only feedback I would give in terms of improvement was in terms of the puddings. The creme brûlée was divine. However, the other parts of the mini trio of puddings were a tad disappointing. Other than... More

Arrived at 7.30pm and already busy, great atmosphere, small menu but still spoilt for choice and could mix and match across a la carte and menu of the day and £17.95 for 3 courses fantastic value; good wine selection and choice of local beers; very welcoming and friendly service; the food was great and the whole experience made for the... Came here with a group of friends. Everyone's food was excellent. They also had a special vegan menu ready for one of us (we had called a few days before to let them know we had one vegan in the group) Highly recommended ☺

We have been going for 15 years and the food is excellent and very good value for money. There are always vegetarian options.I really like the short menu and I still could choose any of the dishes. The mushroom dessert has a wow factor.

Came for an early evening sitting and enjoyed the meal. The service was good and the main course was good value. The fish was fresh as well. The only disappointment was the dessert. The crime brûlée was pre prepared hours earlier. However, the ice cream was nice.

8 of us went to Dejavu to celebrate a birthday. Excellent service by friendly staff and the food was good. Only downside was they had run out of one of the menu items.

Thank Malcolm B
