After the floods the terrace has returned to its usual high standard, however booking is advisable . Food choice and ambiance is really great.

Popped in for lunch in Terrace Bar to be told that you can't just pop in any more - reservation needed!!!! Thankfully Enzo found us a table & produced the new food menu. What a dilemma, nothing I could eat the sizzling dishes having been taken off the menu. Ended up with a sandwich & chips, which were greasy &... More

We ate here all the time before the floods and we're excited to see The Trout and The Terrace reopen but what a disappointment. The menu, which previously was fab and had loads of choices, is now much changed and smaller. Some of the more popular items from previously, such as chicken strips, no longer appear on it. The decor... More

At last it's opened. This has consistently been our favourite local restaurant for a number of years, but had been badly damaged in the floods. Now all repaired, very nicely may I add, it's back open. There has been a change in the menu but the food is still well cooked and presented great. Most of the same staff are... More

We went here because a visiting family member doesn't eat gluten or dairy and thought they would be able to cater for their needs. How right we where nothing was a problem to them and all requests where met with a smile and can do attitude. The food was good and although portion sizes maybe smaller than some places they... We ate here before the floods in 2009 and didn't rate the food what so ever. Then we visited again after the floods when it re-opened and was again disappointed. I had a butternut squash risotto, it was bland and tasted chalky so had it sent back. My husbands chicken fajitas were poor, the tortillas were so dry that when... More

Good food, great service and fantastic atmosphere. We have visited several times for food and drinks and the terrace never disappoints! No need to book either. Never had a bad meal. The court yard in summer is great to sit out for lunch or dinner and great place for drinks with friends. The terrace also serves food all day. If... More

We went to the terrace bar and were greeted and shown to a table straight away, the service was very good, and couldn't be happier to help. The food was very good as all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Would defiantly recommend this place.
