Strolled in here today after our stay in Ambleside. Staff were friendly, a nice atmosphere and clean. We both ordered the full English breakfast which was well cooked, fresh and well presented. The bacon and sausage were of good quality too. Would recommend.

Had soup and a bread roll for my lunch, It was excellent. The café is very popular with locals as well as visitors. Only one problem I didn't have room to have one of their gorgeous looking homemade cakes.

Enjoyed fried eggs on toast and hot pot of tea (with water pot too) and latte and toast. Excellent and attentive staff. Food and drink served promptly. Small but busy cafe and dogs appear welcome. All other customers looked satisfied and happy.

First day in Ambleside and found this little cafe. Would totally recommend for a little bite to eat (cake and coffee) or a full English. As you can see with the photo, we had the regular English breakfast, witch is ample to set anyone up for a day sight seeing and shopping or a hike through the beautiful hills. The... More

We visited Daisys for one of their regular cooked English breakfasts (which are served all day) and lattes. The lattes came promptly and were okay (but we've recently returned from New Zealand where every coffee was superb). We waited about 30 minutes for the breakfast to arrive (but the cafe was busy). The toast was white (not what we'd normally... More

We enjoyed a lovely lunch time visit to Daisy's Cafe. Although very busy the service was quick and efficient. The food WA well presented. We had a jacket potato which was cooked just right, the salad accompanying the lunch was fresh and vibrant not stake and pre prepared. Daisy's cafe is well worth a visit. The decor is nice, it's... New to trip advisor and I am recently catching up with reviewing some of the lovely places I've visited, we popped in for breakfast early last week and we was very pleased with our food and the service that it came with. Will happily come and visit again Sandra
