Had a really excellent meal here - good value and the food was imaginative and delicious. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, efficient and accommodating. All Covid precautions were observed and it felt safe to eat here. I'd go again!

Authentic Spanish Tapas beautifully served in a lovely courtyard garden. a real treat for my birthday. I like the way dishes come in stages rather than all at once. Chris looked after us very well. We'll be back

Booked a table to have some drinks before we went to eat, reserved the table over a month ago. We arrived and were stopped at the entrance and asked if we had booked, we said yes, and they finally found our table, however they said...it was in the garden! It was Saturday evening and not particular warm, so we didn’t to decline their offer, they apparently then had nothing for us inside. So it was a bit of a let down. My advice to them is to make people aware when they book that they don’t have anything inside so at least we can make the decision before walking there. Luckily we went into the Guinea across the road and they couldn’t of been more accommodating and found us a seat inside no problemMore

A beautiful restaurant and bar with fabulous decor. Very welcoming staff and superb food. I go to this restaurant frequently and always have excellent food. Presentation is delightful especially with the sharing boards.

We arrived and waited over an hour to be asked for drinks orders and then finally got asked for food where we were told not to order too many as we could order more later. We did this but then after waiting 30minutes more without...food arriving we decided to order more and then we’re told we couldn’t order anymore as the kitchen was shut. Although the food ( when it arrived ) was good the staff were moody and rude to us. We will not be returning.More

absolutely fantastic food here today, me and my friend came in for lunch before going back to work in a local restaurant, can’t believe I’ve never tried this place before! The man who took our order and payment was lovely and was happy and informed...when answering my questions about the menu, he had good banter with a nearby table so really made the outside lively and fun, the woman who took our drinks order and brought our food was also very nice all round a great experience and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for some tasty Spanish food! We ordered the Macabeo white wine (cheapest) and actually tasted fantastic so can only imagine how nice the more expensive wines would be. Crab salad and the creamy prawns (excuse my lack of Spanish when talking about the dishes) were excellent and the baked Camembert was awesome (not hard to impress me with melted cheese) Patatas bravas always good great flavour with all the food! Massive thank you to the waiters and chefs that worked today you’ve managed to impress! We will be coming again! 😁More

Went for dinner yesterday, 'Eat out to help out'. Ordered the charcuterie board, which we were very excited about after looking at the pictures on the menu, and customer photos online. Was about half the size of what you would except for a £18 board....Came out with: - 3 tiny pieces of cut up toast, which was not toasted and super dry. - 1 Tiny piece of Spanish tortilla. - A small pot of chutney that tasted very Inidan, - Half of a pickled small gherkin cut up into 4 small pieces. - 4 Small cuttings of some kind of salami. - Manchego cheese which was not the typical triangles you hope for in spanish food, but some shavings on the side, did not last long between me and my partner. Good: - Two decent sized sausages. - Two decent sized cuts of parma ham. - A slice of brie. All and all, disappointing for the original price point and fell on quality of the most easiest of items. If it was not for the 50% off I would have asked for a reduction anyways. Nice gentlemen who served us though!More

Dear Hallanmallan I’m sorry to hear we didn’t meet your expectations Our charcuterie boards are our proud and this is the first time someone said that they are small usually is opposite and from your listing actually sounds opposite However I’m sorry you are disappointed

The food and drinks were Fantastic, the only let down was the card acceptance - they display American Express shop small signage on the property and we were trying to pay using Amex but were told that they don’t accept it.

Dear 173robt Thank you for your feedback We use to take Amex and just before the lockdown we changed our card payment supplier and I’m still waiting to add the Amex payment back. I’m sorry we have let you down

We regularly go to the Townhouse on Saturdays both to eat the delicious tapas or just to enjoy a good bottle of wine or two. We found it when it first opened and Its a wonderful place in the centre of town. It has a...great atmosphere and the staff are always super welcoming and friendly. The small garden is a delight in the summer. The food is excellent. We have enjoyed the full range of tapas and charcuterie boards over the years. Like all other restaurants they had to close their doors with the COVID 19 virus restrictions. But to our great delight they are doing take away deliveries. We ordered a delicious shrimp and fish paella for my husband’s birthday. The service was excellent. A lovely personal touch too. We wholeheartedly support them and will order again. Well done Petya and team.More

A friend has moved into the area so we had a rather boozy lunch here. The service was excellent and we were well attended to. The tapas was delicious and every single plate went down a treat. The only disappointment was the dessert which looked...like dog food and the texture was questionable. Overall a wonderful afternoon in a pleasant atmosphere with lovely food.More
