Being a student I often find I'm limited on going out because it always ends up with me out of pocket. But Cuban Thursdays are the perfect solution, its always lively with a great atmosphere and £1.50 drinks and £2 entrance after 10 makes this a great affordable night, not only is there a bar and large smoking area but... We decided to try this bar out for a pre theatre dinner that would not be too heavy. Whilst the tapas menu was slightly limited , the quality of the food was generally very good . Unfortunately the service level were a bit below par. Our drink order arrived - thank you for finding a bottle of wine that was... More

I understand there's a new chef at The Cuban - and what a difference! The steak was uniform in thickness (different supplier?) and cooked rare to perfection. I like a rare or medium-rare steak but am frequently disappointed, even at dedicated steak houses! But this one was fantastic... my best steak for a long time. Highly recommended. The service was... A great place to get your latino spirit on. Friendly & polite staff. Cant comment on the food as didnt eat, but if looked nice. The only downside is the toilet are too far upstairs.

Absolutely horrendous experience for a friends birthday meal, food was shocking cocktails took 45 minutes to arrive, staff were unbelievably rude. I literally wish we'd all gone to McDonalds as that would of been a far better experience!!!! If only there was a zero star option...

I went here after watching a show at the Marlow, we were six ladies all looking to continue our great evening. Unfortunately the Cuban did not provide this. We were sat at a table upstairs - it was freezing. We told the staff how cold we were and they turned on the heating (which was one heater and should have... More

The venue itself is very relaxed and welcoming, sadly the staff appeared more interested in talking amongst themselves or with their friends. A cocktail order took over twenty minutes to arrive when the venue was not busy, and the staff did not offer any form ofapoology when this was pointed out. The drinks were pretty good, but the experience marred... More

I'll set the scene, 14 friends meeting for a birthday celebration, all had pre-ordered food the days before and just expecting a pleasant evening with nice food and a comfy environment. Unfortunately this did not happen, drink orders had been forgotten the food was almost as cold as the venue and had to be sent back. Overall a very lackadaisical... More

Lovely seafood paella & the staff were really accommodating regarding the toilets being upstairs, they allowed my daughter in law & bubba to use the downstairs toilet. A really good lunch & experience with a 5 month old as not all places are so helpful. Many thanks to the staff who served us 😁
