Just returned home from the Granville and I HAD to write a review. The service was absolutely shocking, the food was average at best and we are completely gutted that what we used to call one of our favourite restaurants has obviously been taken over...More

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff & good menu. Disappointed that at 8.30 they'd run out of a couple of things on the menu but the food we ordered was nicely presented & v tasty. Would definitely return if on the area again.

Sunday lunch is a difficult meal to judge a restaurant on, we all had the traditional roast and it was fine. Beef was nice and rare, if requested, perhaps could have included one more slice for the money. Veg was plentiful and good. Puds OK...More

Hi there, yes we do take dogs. They are welcome in the bar, the lounge (but not the main dining area), and of course, the garden! we look forward to seeing you. jim

The Granville is a country pub just a couple of miles from the historic city of Canterbury. The Granville offers real ales, great wines and outstanding food in a relaxed, informal setting, with a beautiful roaring fire at its heart. The emphasis is good, high quality pub food, using fresh produce and cooked with imagination. Mon-Fri we offer a 2 or 3 course set lunch menu for £12.80/ £15.90. We also have full a la carte menu every day, and are open every day.
