How exciting to have an all vegan/cruelty free pub in the heart of Canterbury! We attended on the opening night and it was a friendly, calm atmosphere. Staff are great and the interior is lovely. Can't wait to come back for some delicious vegan food soon! I wish you all the best x

Excellent ! Friendly and welcoming. Great background classic jazz playing - Miles / Coltrane etc. Great food- all vegan / plant based. Beers and wines all vegan too. Will certainly return often!

Had lunch here today it was very nice. Would recommend to vegan and non vegans Several burgers to choose from although I had kebab which was very nice and filling. Lovely hot chunky chips and fresh salad. Will definately be going back. Cocktails looked amazing. Would recommend. Very friendly staff.

I hadn't ever visited the Monument even though it's close to where I live. It always felt very unfriendly and dank walking past in previous years, so I was very surprised that a friend recommend it as the menu had become entirely vegan. After a day out,we thought we'd pop by for a late lunch as it's rare to find... More

We came here as my friend is a vegan and all the food served caters for vegans and there are also gluten free options. The oven was broken on the day we visited so the menu was very basic. For me, personally, the burger I had was not filling enough and the chips had a strange flavour. My friend was... More

This is a pub that has changed drastically, for the better, in my opinion. The pub was refurbished and had a more wine-bar feel, which perhaps wasn't completely tonally correct for the St Dunstans end of Canterbury. Now it has changed hands again (Feb 2017?) and has become more of a 'pub' that more locals seem to be attending. I... More

Haven't been in here for a couple of years and was nicely surprised how it looks now. Very smart and modern with a lovely garden. Didn't eat there just had some wine which I was able to sample before I bought. I would recommend and if you get the table by the window you can watch the world go by.

This is a friendly pub with a good Sunday lunch. I have been several times on a Sunday and it has always been great. I did go once mid-week and was a bit disappointed both by the food and the portions. Perhaps it was a different chef.
