Hi fellow Tripadvisor people, we thought we would give you a little info about us.

We are a casual very small Sandwich & Coffee Bar, serving you great coffee in the hidden back streets of Canterbury. We are not easy to find, but hope you will try.

Feel free to call ahead and ask if we have space as we are tiny but very welcoming, we have just launched our Grilled Cheese sandwiches and all are Iron Grilled to order just for you.

We hope to see you soon

Love

Best sandwiches in town!

Go to willows and have a grilled cheese sandwich with a gherkin and a coffee. Then go back the next day and have a ham, cheese and salad sandwich with another coffee and a millionaires shortbread. Repeat. I always take away as its usually full and its a bit chilly in the winter.

All the wrong things: Told over phone they close at 3.30pm, their website says closes at at 5pm, tripadvisor says 4pm, their door displays 3.30pm. (corrected now - it was probably because of the Festive Period i.e. changes to normal opening hours) Only one loo which is awkwardly accessible through their busy kitchen, clutter all the way, and no lock... This is a small coffee shop however very friendly and full of character. The menu if basic however reasonably priced and off the high street if you want a quiet moment to reflect on your purchases!

High quality bread, generous filling of melted cheese, genuine dill cucumber.... ..... only quibble is limited space, but in summer I think you can sit outside if busy.... they also have stall at Christmas Market (at Mark&Sparks end of the stalls). Would go again to try rest of cheese menu!

Best homemade sandwiches on chunky fresh bread. Makes a lovely change from supermarket packed sandwiches. Nice chatty staff and atmosphere. Would return.

The food here was to die for. The bread was soft with a nice crunchy crust. I would recommend this for lunch.

We found this cafe when searching online for grilled cheese. Very happy with this discovery. The grilled cheese sandwiches were amazing, served with beautiful crunchy pickles. The coffee was perfect. They even do an Aussie Latte, which brought a smile to this Aussie's face. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here with a friend on Saturday. The grilled cheeses are to die for! We are definitely going back and trying the others on the menu! Staff were really warm and friendly. Overall a great little cafe, one of the best, if not the best, cafes in Canterbury.
