I booked to eat here, with my family for my mums 75th birthday. We had been to the theatre first and when we arrived were given a choice of tables. The service was really good. I asked if we could see the pre theatre menu but was told it was no longer available, but by way of an apology they... More

Have been to The Parrot quite a few times since moving to Canterbury last year and it's a beautiful building with friendly bar staff. The garden is secluded with lots of tables etc. Yesterday evening, we popped in for a drink and sat in the garden. My glass of vodka & tonic was a good quarter full, when a waiter... More

Intrigued as my nan lived in this road over 60 yrs ago when I used to visit her and could not remember this pub. So being nosey went inside after reading a brief description by the door. If you read other reviews you will see that it has had a checkered history, that is why I could not recall seeing... More

This gem in Canterbury serves very different food, but also traditional pub food. Everything we had to eat there was good and the pub is something of a kind with the old beams and decor. The staff is friendly and tentive. A real treat!

Stopped here for some drinks after our daughter graduated. Busy but plenty of tables. Able to play some games as a group. Fun atmosphere in a historic setting!

We were taken here by a friend who lives in canterbury even though it wouldn't have been my first choice as generally not very impressed with pub grub as it really can be hit and miss. The 3 members of staff that looked after us were really friendly and the service was spot on. The food was very good quailty... More

Booked a table with friends for a birthday. Nice table. Drinks arrived promptly as did the food. All the starters were lovely I chose the scotch eggs which was superb nice and moist. They had run out of the sizzler dishes so chose the chicken and ham pie and even managed a sweet! A little pricey but worth paying
