We were in Canterbury for a sports event and happened to spot the cafe as we walked along the high street. It looked 'canny' as they say in the North East and distinctive too. The fact that our dog was welcomed too was the icing...More

Very much a French cafe with a menue to reflect it. Very good sandwiches and a simple but good hot food range. The French style breakfast is outstanding and a great favourite any time?

This is such a charming cafe, with menus in French and English. The service was very friendly and efficient and we enjoyed quiche and salad. There is a great choice of light bites, snacks and desserts as well as some tempting specials. Highly recommended.

A charming cafe in the French style, owned by a Frenchman and his family. Very popular both for eating in and take-away. Excellent food and coffee.

A very warm welcome from the proprietor, Michel Piquet, (who also features as the model for the "Canterbury Tales" Cook character at the base of the Chaucer statue down the road). Small dogs allowed in the cafe itself, larger ones on the patio at the...More

I love coming here. The staff are really nice and there is a lovely atmosphere. We come here for birthday breakfast treats or family lunch ( delicious baguettes or soup) but it is also the kind of place you can feel comfortable visiting on your...More
