Attended The Foragers as part of a family group of 7 adults and 2 children. The service was attentive, courteous, helpful and tolerant of the boisterous (at times) children. The food was superb - the roast beef was plentiful and beautifully cooked whilst my belly of pork was quite simply the best I have ever eaten. A good variety of... More

We had a wonderful festive evening at the Foragers on Christmas Eve. The pub was cosy and had a lovely atmosphere. Food was really tasty and the service excellent and very friendly. We had been meaning to go here for some time and will definitely return soon. My only criticism would be that the menu is not great for vegetarians,... More

A very picturesque pub near the town centre, far enough away so you can enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. The food is topnotch if you decide to have a meal. Id recommend for friends and/or family even.

Delicious meal in cosy pre Xmas surroundings: the Verulam Arms combines a proper pub with great, interesting food. Waitress was knowledgable and efficient energy with a large table of festive revellers to serve at the same time as us. We will return

I booked a table for 10 for a Christmas reunion meal, tempted by the festive menu, although I hadn't been to the Verulam Arms for about a year. It was wonderful. The food was a delicious mixture of seasonal flavours, in generous portions, and with the unique elements that the Foragers are known for (homemade sloe gin, for example). It... More

We went to The Foragers yesterday to celebrate my dad's birthday - as soon as we arrived the service was brilliant. The pub was busy as it is Christmas but they quickly moved us to a quieter area of the pub to eat. The food was the best pub food we've had! Highly recommend the pork belly. Thank you to... More

We had late Sunday dinner there before going on to sing carols. The atmosphere was lovely and the service excellent. The roast beef dinner was so good it brought back memories of my late mum and her Sunday dinners. Yes I personally like the gravy a bit thicker but what a delicious full on Sunday lunch.

14 of us, well received, great beers, friendly staff, perfect service and a good ambience. Also good lagers, ciders, gins, vodkas and wine. Duck and pheasant praised highly.

Booked The Foragers an hour before we turned up, we wanted a Sunday roast on our way home from Luton Hoo Hotel and Spa. Staff were very welcoming, this is a proper English pub, great selection of beers and the food was spot on. It was rammed (which is a good sign) staff were rushed off their feet but were... More
