Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable seating in restaurant. Good choice of Asian food available. Cheerful helpful staff. Will visit again
First time at Gingers & we were very impressed The staff were friendy & very helpful Our food was delicious & the service excellent Easy to parking just outside This was by far the best indian food we have had in a long time &...we will definately be returning We would highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone who is thinking of bookingMore
In all my over 70 years of eating fish and chips have I been wrong in that the main ingredient of this dish is FISH? When the meal came it looked good but cutting into it starting at the end there was only batter. Not...surprisingly I ventured further into the middle of the supposed fish there was virtually just more batter and not even very nice batter. Did the Chef just photograph a fish and stick it inside to try to fool us and make sure there was something white there? My sister had the same dish and left hers'. I did finish my meal as It could have meant going for the rest of the day without eating. If this Chef did make this meal they should never be allowed in a Kitchen again. I do however wonder whether this is the Chain's instructions? Eating should be a nice experience including eating together and even if I had complained straight away would have upset a mood of four people and at best left me eating on my own while the others watched me Although the server was okay at the minimum she should have informed the manager who could at least have had the decency to come and grovel. I dont live local like my sister but people of Ware beWare of what they have done to our national dish.More
I come here often and it has always been good. However this visit, the service was extremely terrible. We ordered drinks but waited a while for them. We ordered starters and mains at the same time. We got poppadoms but after that we waited about...1 hr to get starters. There were only a few tables but they were dealing with takeaways and deliveries. They were struggling to get any tables served. I requested spicy for my main but it was bland. The staff are friendly and usually service is ok but I was so disappointed this time. Their food is good, service needs to be better.More
Ate at gingers for the first time last night and were highly impressed Booked a table for 7pm on arrival we were the only people in the restaurant Which was a little bit worrying. But other customers soon started come in nearly fill the establishment....Food was very tasty and service was excellent (tandoori king prawns fantastic) A bit of a drive for us but well worth it we will definitely returnMore
This is a restaurant that we go to regularly As the restrictions mean they have close at 10 pm, they are trying to squeeze as many tables in as possible. The waiters seem to think that wearing a face masks on their chin is ok...- it’s not!! Won’t be going back any time soon - such a shame.More
Went for a meal here the food was good which is why I’m very annoyed that there orices have been heavily inflated compared to the website prices & they gave us the full bill not taking the £30 off for the eat out to help...out scheme. When I pulled him up on it they deducted it but looked annoyed about it. How many more people have they had over . Shame .More
We had dinner here last night with a 1yr old baby. A very nice high chair was provided on request. The service was great and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and not greasy at all like many Indian restaurant...dishes can be. The peshwari naan was some of the best I've had. Large portions all very delicious. Every chair and table was sprayed after use and all the staff wore masks. The decor was brand new and very smart. They've made a real effort here. I'd visit again for sure.More
Came over to my sisters house , had tried this lovely food with so much taste and flavour , would highly recommend and suggest this restaurant for a 5* curry
I would normally give this more of a rating but that night the service was slow. It was a Saturday night and it was busy but we didn’t get asked for our order until after 15 minutes. We got our food quickly and as it...got less busy, they were more attentive. They are friendly and it’s local to us, the food is good. Just wish service was better. Maybe it was a one off as service is always good.More
Nice family meal, with great food and friendly service. They have their own parking - Will definitely be back
Delicious tikka masala and dansak and generous portions, lovely staff, will definitely be going back
By far best Indian around. Truly authentic food that comes in generous portions. So helpful to, cooking dishes that are not on the menu; chicken chilly pakora and salmon tikka masala is just awesome. The "new" owners have been here a while now and are...turning what was a good restaurant into a great restaurant. Yes there were a few teething problems when they first took over (9 months ago) but give them another go you wont be disappointed. They also deliver now which is an added bonus if you dont fancy going out. Staff are friendly and a free drink at the end of the meal is aways a nice touch.More
Good menu and very friendly service. Like the easy parking outside and only a short walk from the town centre, will come again.
