Absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch, couldn't fault it at all. We had pork and beef, both tender and melt in the mouth, veggies were cooked to perfection. Truly home cooked !!! Service was excellent, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Will be returning !!!!

We have been to this pub a few times and the carvery has always been good. It is a family pub so there is always a level of noise. But when we went this last time we were seated by the door leading out into the garden and as people came in and out carrying food and drinks they had... More

Quite nice surroundings and pleasant staff. The food however I thought was very mundane and uninteresting The prawn and avocado salad was totally boring and had a strong flavour of tomato puree not at all exciting. The brie and cranberry ciabatta was very basic, nothing to write home about and would have been better if they had added bacon for... More

We four have visited The Walwyn Arms on many occasions and have never been let down. The carvery is always a winner and the menus are varied and all food tasty. We all appreciate the waitress who recognises and acknowledges us as we walk in and is very cheerful and helpful.

Visited for a lunch on a Tuesday, it was fairly busy, mainly older people. Vegetarian selection is good and locally sourced so the food is top notch. Dad had the roast which is discounted if you are a OAP. The portion sizes generous, I struggled with mine but then I was greedy and had a starter, but the were to... More

We, four people, arrived at 12:30 for lunch and the restaurant was virtually empty, two tables occupied by six diners. The carvery was fully stocked which surprised me given how quiet it was. We selected a table and a very pleasant young waitress took our order for drinks. So far so good. Our food orders were taken efficiently and arrived... More
