Visited the Stagecoach on Sunday for lunch, we had booked which is probably advised. There was three of us we all had the carvery, you had a choice of three meats, I had the beef and turkey. There was a good selection of veg and potatoes, the yorkshires where massive :) the food was very tasty meat was tender, basically... More

We had family down from Liverpool for Easter so we booked a table for an Easter Day roast. The carvery was excellent as where the starters and the desserts. Service was good with attentive staff to look after you. An unusual olde worlds restaurant and well worth a visit.

I can't say much about the pub aspect of The Stagecoach because we went straight upstairs to the restaurant but they had a couple of decent beers on (Wye Valley Butty Bach, always a winner!). The restaurant upstairs is a fine place, lots of wonky beams and nook and crannies. The lunchtime menu was excellent; all of the pub classics... More

As I live in Blackwood, and my sister lives in Shrewsbury, we needed to find somewhere half way to celebrate Mothers Day with my mum and grandparents, so we opted for somewhere in Hereford. My sister booked the Stagecoach after looking at other reviews, although she didn't see anything about it being a carvery, so this was a bit of... More

A works night out, and not for the first time, we went to the Stagecoach. Really good value drinks at the bar to start, one of the cheapest in town. Then up the winding stairs to eat. Plenty of good wholesome food served piping hot and really good value for money.

We went in the Stagecoach on a Saturday lunchtime. It is a lovely old building and is nicely arranged as a friendly pub downstairs and an old atmospheric dining are upstairs. Staff are friendly and service fast. They currently have a BOGOF offer which means very good value. Two good meals and drinks only cost us £18. British pub food... More
