Enjoyed a light lunch here last week after a local walk. Super friendly staff and made to feel very welcome. Light Lunch menu was great, good quality and served with care. Will certainly return!

The service is fantastic, staff are all very nice and helpful. Had the Aspalls cider on drought and it tasted very clean and very crisp, they take very good care of their lines. Had the best meal I've had in a long time (the steak...More

Parking is very limited (ie small pub car-park, then a few places up a narrow lane). Attractive decor, friendly efficient staff, good choice of menu. Food well cooked and presented. Would go back

There is only limited parking at this pub and can be difficult to negotiate a parking place. The food was quite nice but not really outstanding and there was very little atmosphere which is unusual in a village pub. There is another pub in the...More

We are 2 miles away from the Christmas market, we also had b&b rooms and good transport every 15 minutes to city centre.
