I don't know Southampton very well and decided to go inside based on menu on the door. What a pleasant surprise! We shared an excellent Italian inspired vegetarian antipasto followed by mains of wild mushroom ravioli, seafood linguine. (Not keen on the cream with the seafood pasta but it could be my personal taste). Liked the live jazzy music and... More

Had a great lunch here recently. Sat outside. Road is quiet so perfect place. We both ordered the seafood linguine with samphire. £13 each. Very fresh fish, crab, prawns, mussels etc in pasta with samphire, such a tasty combination of tantalising flavours. Service excellent. Would have liked more choice on rose wines though. Will definetly go back.

I went for dinner with two friends and overall it was a pretty disappointing experience. I had the scallops to start and they were really very bland. My main was slightly better (seafood spaghetti) but the waitress seemed pretty confused that I needed a bowl or plate for shells from my muscles and completely forgot to offer any Parmesan or... The food was wonderful, my wife and I ordered two appetizers, and the amount of food was overwhelming. It was very good, and the service was great, but be cautious or ask the size or quantity of the appetizers. We couldn't finish it though it was delicious.

Great food very attentive front of house. Good value for this high standard of food. Live piano music Sunday evening really adds to the ambiance.

Nice restaurant with a French touch (it reminds a French bistro). Wide and and interesting choice both for the starters and the mains and even several vegetarian options. Nice deserts as well. Very good service and kind staff. Slightly more expensive than the average.

Food was great, service was friendly and professional. Only negative was that it took a really long time to get our martinis before dinner. I really don't think they knew how to make them, but after that, all was very enjoyable. I had duck and it was delicious!

Came here fo a family birday party and had a superb evening. I would have liked a wider choice of menu, but there is a specials board each day as well as the set menu, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful but I object to paying an extra £3 plus to have vegetables as... More

Had a very pleasant meal outside last night at the Olive Tree in Oxford Street. Staff were friendly. Not a huge choice but reasonably priced. Food was great. Beware of the 12% service charge added to the bill: even for a table of 2! Would definately go back though, just ask them to remove the service charge and add your... More
