This is situated at the bottom of the High Street. The restaurant was reasonably quiet we were not rushed. The staff where friendly and did a good job to make us feel welcome The menu was standard Italian which is not a bad thing. The food was good and the price point was ok. I had noticed other reviews mentioned... More

Great food and even better staff - very helpful and friendly. It's hard not to enjoy a meal here. We tend to go as a family and have a brilliant time.

I came here for dinner with a friend whilst we were visiting Southampton before heading for a drink. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and we weren't kept too long waiting for drinks. The food I ordered was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best dishes I have eaten in an Italian Restaurant. If I was to... More

The food was ok, don't get me wrong, but certainly nothing better than at any other Italian restaurant. The waitress asked if we wanted some bread with the mixed Antipast platter we had ordered as a starter. I noticed it being on the bill for £5: just for a handful of toasted slices of ciabatta bread that they had to... More

From the outside la lupa looks relatively nice, clean exterior. Same for the inside, nicely decorated, clean modern interior. There we a lot of bulbs that needed replacing but apart from that the ladies toilets were clean with moisturisers and hand towels. Can't say the same for the men's as they were horrible. We ordered the antipasto misto to start,... More

Callum B Many thanks for taking the time to review my restaurant. With regards to the bulbs - we are having the bulbs replaced with more energy efficient ones and this is proving to be more complex than simply changing the bulbs. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The men's toilets do not have hand towels... More

We visited here the evening before our cruise. A busy spot in town with a good atmosphere. The kids menu is good value for money with ideal portion sizes. My wife and I both had a lovely Penne Arrabbiata and a Pizza Garlic Bread to start. All in all a nice meal at a reasonable price.

This place is excellent. I had the mussels to start for £7.50 and got 22 mussels. Yes, that's right - 22 mussels, £7.50. That were damn tasty as well. I followed it up with the lunch menu pork fillet which was also really nice - my mother had the rump steak. They were £7.95 each - it's a wonder they're... More
