Amazing food but don't get sat next to the waiters station next to the bar. Waitresses conversation was a bit much.

Was running late from an appointment and popped in here on the off chance that we could get some food around 9.30 pm . The waiters were really great and friendly. My partner and I had duck confit and pork belly and it was fantastic. Served quite promptly and beautifully cooked. Thanks guys for looking after us after a long... More

My beef wellington and my guest's "chicken wrapped in ham" were ok. The restaurant was too noisy for a conversation at peak dinner time. But the staff were quite nice and the musicians outstanding.

Nice food and jazz restaurant. old fashioned local with jazz atmosphere. Nice food, good people and not chaotic. Nice for a romantic dinner or a calm evening with colleagues and friends. Not cheap. It would be nice if sometimes there would be some live music.

Visited with a party of 21. Small venue. Staff were fantastic, and nothing was too much trouble, even with the demanding ones in the party! Food amazing, piping hot and so tasty, compliments to your chef. Would just like to say Thankyou!

Cosy little restaurant in the main drag. Jazz band playing and lots of people enjoying the tunes. I had the Beef Wellington and it was superb. Very cosy and friendly place with top notch service.

I used to love this place, we haven't visited for a while as we are out of area now but I suggested to my friends that we pop in for a glass of something nice before our meal as we were heading into Southsea. We decided to go for a Kir Royale, the girl behind the bar duly served them... More
